Shiny Flotsam is a new event currency available in Genshin Impact. Genshin Impact is currently hosting the Echoing Tales summer event. This event comes with tons of new content including a new set of islands to explore, a new Waverider to explore the ocean with, and a new seasonal shop that can be used to get valuable items. Shiny Flotsam can be collected in a variety of different ways throughout the event.
Before players are able to participate in the Echoing Tales event, they will need to complete three prerequisites. This is what players need to do to unlock access to this event:
- The player will need to reach Adventure Rank 21 or higher.
- The player will need to have completed the Archon Quest “Song of the Dragon and Freedom”
- The player will need to have completed the Trifolium Chapter: Act I: “True Treasure”
Once these prerequisites are met, players will be able to participate in the Echoing Tales event. A big part of this event is collecting the Echoing Conches scattered around the newly introduced Golden Apple Archipelago. How To Get Shiny Flotsam in Genshin Impact
To get Shiny Flotsam in Genshin Impact, players will need to have fully explored the Golden Apple Archipelago. Once that is done, players will be able to head over to the hilichurl icons on the map. This will activate a specific set of combat challenges during which players will need to use their Waverider to defeat enemies. Once the enemies are defeated in the area, players will be rewarded with Shiny Flotsam. Players can then head over to the next hilichurl icon and repeat the process. Players will want to earn as much Shiny Flotsam as possible because it can be used to purchase event reward items at the Event Shop.
Every event in Genshin Impact comes with its own currency. During this event, players might be interested in unlocking new items for their Serenitea Pot. The Serenitea Pot pocket dimension mechanic was only just introduced a few weeks ago and has tons of room to grow as the game continues.
