Players in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart may have a much harder time finding the hidden items and collectibles with all the extra dimension-hopping that takes place in the game. These collectible items are things like Gold Bolts, Spybots, Holocard Packs, RYNO Holocards, and even sticks of Raritanium. To help simplify the search for treasures in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, players can get the Map-O-Matic. While players can still find the collectibles without the Map-O-Matic, adding this item to inventory can significantly cut down on any extra time players might spend wandering.

The only collectibles the Map-O-Matic won't find automatically in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart are the secret CraiggerBear collectibles. Sadly, the Map-O-Matic isn't available until late in the game, and players won't be able to access it until they reach Ardolis. However, players can always return to earlier planets after they get the Map-O-Matic to pick up what they missed.

Where to Find the Map-O-Matic in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

While on Ardolis, one of the last planets in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, players will need to complete the optional Treasure Hunt mission. Players will first be heading to Ardolis to find Captain Quantum and complete the Treasure Hunt mission at the same time.

After finding Captain Quantum, players return to the ship with him. It is essential not to leave Ardolis at this point, instead, take the nearby portal to the Plunder Marketplace. Inside the marketplace, players will need to defeat several pirates.

To get onto the pirate ship, players will need to find and use the nearby grappling point. After defeating all or most of the pirates aboard, players must climb the mast of the ship to get onto the second ship docked here.

Finally, players will be able to access the building at which these ships have docked. Inside, there will be several more enemies before the player can enter and use the elevator. After using the elevator, defeating them all will grant the player access to a chest that has the Map-O-Matic inside.

If the player is playing Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart's New Game+ and still decides to pursue the Treasure Hunt mission a second time, they will find a different reward within the chest. Instead of the Map-O-Matic, which they will already have access to, inside will be 10 sticks of Raritanium.
