The Wishful Drops event is now underway in Genshin Impact. Version 1.4 of the open-world RPG has seen a number of interesting events already, and this latest one involves a new Gadget, gameplay mechanics, and plenty of nice rewards. Here's everything fans need to know about the Wishful Drops event and the many rewards that are up for grabs.

The Wishful Drops event runs from April 9 through April 16, 2021, and only players who've achieved Adventure Rank 20 or higher can participate. This shouldn't come as a surprise, really, since many of Genshin Impact's recent events like Contending Tides are behind a similar rank. In order to start earning rewards for Wishful Drops, players will first have to complete a prerequisite quest called "Life Flows On (I)."

Completing this quest will give players their first reward: a new Gadget called Inquisitive Endora. After equipping this, players can summon Endora by their side. It's very similar to the way Mini-Seelie worked in Version 1.2, except that Endora will give players access to new abilities and skills like Bubble Spit. The object of the event is to find, battle, and capture Oceanid enemies. By making exploration progress and completing the necessary quests, players can unlock several great rewards during the Wishful Drops event.

Genshin Impact's Wishful Drop Rewards: Primogems, EXP, & More

The rewards for completing the earlier portions of the event include Endora herself, Mora, Hearts of Spring, and Primogems. Mora can be nice to purchase in-game items, and free Primogems are always welcome - especially since that means more chances to pull for characters in Genshin Impact's Wish system. The Hearts of Spring can be used to obtain additional EXP rewards once players have completed the "Rhodeia's Rage" event challenge.

Completing this challenge can earn players even more rewards like Hero's Wit, Adventurer's Experience, and Wanderer's Advice books. So while the extra Primogems can be used to acquire new characters, the additional EXP books can be used to level them up quickly. Genshin Impact has had a lot of memorable events during the Version 1.4 content, and with Wishful Drops, it appears that streak isn't ending yet.

It is worth noting that Endora cannot be summoned outside the areas of exploration for the Wishful Drops event, so players will need to make sure they're in a designated area before calling her out to try to capture Oceanid creatures. Overall, it looks like a pretty fun event - and it's a great way to get more Primogems and EXP materials in Genshin Impact, which is always nice.
