New Genshin Impact leaks (thanks to data mining) reveal a ton of new information for the next 1.1 update, which will introduce new characters, items, and more. There have been constant leaks and rumors that give players more information on what to expect in upcoming content, and much of it seems to have been on the money.

Players have been eagerly waiting for an update, with many already having reached the end of the currently available storyline, and the most determined among have already maxed out a majority of their characters. With little left to do, developer miHoYo needs a way to keep players invested in the game. Luckily, PC data miners  giving miHoYo time to ensure the update's quality is to their standards.

Redditor polonoid75 posted a large summary of all the leaks that have been revealed for the update 1.1, getting all the juicy details in one compact place. Genshin Impact's 1.1 update is expected to release on November 11th, 2020. One of the biggest leaked features is a finale to Chapter 1 for Liyue story quests, which originally came to an abrupt end - likely due to the content being unfinished or otherwise unpolished. This will also give players another weekly dungeon to repeat, with only two being accessible at present. Other additions to the game will be the new playable characters Zhongli and Childe, who notably played roles in Liyue's story. With luck, maybe these new characters will be able to contest Diluc's powerful moveset.

A system that is being added is called reputation, giving players a larger incentive to explore and actively do side quests. Reputation levels are unique to the region and will give rewards like profile cards, glider skins, and item recipes. This gives people who have completed the majority of the game something to grind out. There are also smaller features like Condensed Resin, which is a useful way for players to store Resin for later consumption, and item locking, which ensures people don't accidentally salvage +16 artifacts. Speaking of items, there will be new 5 star weapons along with consumables such as the Portable Teleporter, which lets players place a teleporter anywhere in the world that lasts for 7 days. The update also introduces new events, such as one that tests the player's ability to make exquisite dishes using the game's cooking mechanics.

MiHoYo seems to be going all out for Genshin Impact's first major update, so players of all kinds will have something to enjoy with this upcoming update. One of the biggest community complaints thus far is the Resin system, which is seen as too limiting when it comes to repeatable dungeons, but the update's leaked details doesn't seem to address it. However, the free-to-play game is still extremely fresh with more periodic updates on the way, so miHoYo has ample time to address that gripe and more in future updates.
