Considered one of the most beautifully designed characters in Genshin Impact, Ningguang is finally getting her own skin in the Version 2.4 update. Along with Keqing, the Tiangquan of the Liyue Qixing will be getting a new stunning blue gown to go along with the new Liyue-centered update, “Fleeting Colors in Flight.”
Ningguang’s new outfit, Orchid’s Evening Gown, will be available for players to obtain for free once Version 2.4 releases on January 5, 2022. Players will be able to get the outfit by participating in the update’s event, or by purchasing it in the store. So far, this is the second set of skins Genshin Impact has introduced, following the summer-inspired outfits for Jean and Barbara.
Skins in Genshin Impact do not give the player any gameplay buffs or change the character’s abilities; however, they do give the character a fresh look for players who want to change things up for their favorite units. Ningguang’s skin features a navy blue dress with an open leg, gold accents, and a matching blue and gold headpiece to tie the new night-sky-inspired outfit together.
How to Obtain Ningguang’s Orchid’s Evening Gown in Genshin Impact
While players will have to purchase Keqing’s skin with Genesis Crystals, Ningguang’s skin will be available for free through one of the Genshin Impact Version 2.4 events. According to developer MiHoYo, players will be able to obtain Ningguang’s new skin by taking part in the exclusive event “Fleeting Colors in Flight." The event will begin shortly after the update goes live. However, further details about what players will need to do exactly to obtain the skin haven’t yet been revealed.
After the event ends, players will no longer be able to unlock the skin for free. They will still be able to purchase it in the Genshin Impact Character Outfit Shop for 1680 Genesis Crystals, or approximately 30 US Dollars. Ningguang's Orchid's Evening Gown, along with Keqing's new Genshin Impact skin, will become a permanent addition to the shop after the update. Players can access the shop by opening Paimon’s menu, clicking on the Paimon’s Shop tab, and then clicking on the Character Outfit Shop tab.
While skins are a relatively new aspect of Genshin Impact, players are very excited about the appearance of the new skins for Ningguang and Keqing. As the first skins for Liyue characters, these opulent dresses fit the personalities of the characters perfectly, making them must-haves for players who love these units and use them frequently. Players who obtain them will be able to give their characters a fun new look as they explore the new region of Enkanomiya coming to the update as well.
