In Genshin Impact, players will face a difficult Bathysmal Vishap Herd Boss. The herd comprises Primordial Bathysmal Vishap, Bolteater Bathysmal Vishap, and Rimebiter Bathysmal Vishap enemies. The Bathysmal Vishap Herd can be found in the watery region of Enkanomiya, which is only accessible to players who are at least Adventure Level 30. Additionally, players must complete several quests to unlock Enkanomiya in Genshin Impact.
To encounter the herd, players will first need to complete the world quest From Dusk to Dawn in Byakuyakoku. Once players have met the requirements to unlock the boss, they can be found in Dainichi Mikoshi, the artificial sun of Enkanomiya. Additionally, the boss icon will appear on the player's regional map. The herd will use a powerful cleansing shower attack in battle, which is forecasted with a purple orb. If this attack lands, it causes a certain amount of the player's Elemental Energy to drain. If the player does not have enough Elemental Energy available, they will lose HP instead.
To defeat the Bathysmal Vishap Herd in battle, players should approach the fight with a party comprised of Pyro and Geo characters in Genshin Impact like Hu Tao and Zhongli or Shield characters, as well as a healer and an energy-generating character. Once the boss battle begins, players will need to dodge their Cryo and Electro attacks, which will cause the herd to jump toward the opposite end of the battle arena.
How To Defeat The Bathysmal Vishap Herd Boss in Genshin Impact
Spike Field is another attack that players can easily dodge by running around the arena. For this move, one of the enemies will plug his tail in the ground to form a Spike Field, which should be the player's sign to start running. Meanwhile, the Spinning Sweep attack from the Bathysmal Vishap Herd boss will deal AoE Cryo damage or AoE Electro damage.
As the combat in Genshin Impact progresses, the Bathysmal Vishap Herd will temporarily cease their attacks on the player. Players should use that as an opportunity to attack during that lull using various attacks. When the fight continues, one of the enemies will jump on top of one of the stone pillars in the arena to start launching Electro projectiles. Once that occurs, players should destroy the pillars to weaken the enemy before attacking the enemy directly. Of note, once one of the two enemies is defeated, the defeated one will jump into the water and use a Critical Assist attack. This move will cause three homing shards to appear and deal Cryo or Electro damage if they land. Players can either dodge or shield this attack.
Additionally, players can consume food in Genshin Impact to increase their attack before going into the battle to improve their chances against the boss Bathysmal Vishap Herd. Once players successfully defeat the boss, they will be rewarded with Dragonheir's False Fin ascension material. Unlike other bosses, defeating the Bathysmal Vishap Herd does not reward the player with an achievement.
