Genshin Impact 2.2 brings new adventures for players including the addition of Tsurumi Island, but the way to get there can be unclear. The new update also brings an end to the Moonchase Festival, but it adds hangout events with Thoma and Sayu, new quests to complete, and a new Cryo Archer named Aloy. Players looking for a new adventure can head to Tsurumi Island.

The last of the Inazuma Islands has been revealed in the latest update, but players will need to complete a quest to get there. Tsurumi Island is covered in a thick fog that prevents players from getting there with the Windrider. While players can technically land there using this item, the mist will teleport them away if they remain there for too long.

The new island is located in the southernmost part of Inazuma. To reach Tsurumi Island, players will need to start the World Quest, "Through the Mists." The quest will only be unlocked when "Seirai Stormchasers" has been completed, then players can speak to Katheryne in Inazuma City. After speaking to Katheryne, players will also need to talk to Sumida and find Kama in Riotu to be teleported to Trsurumi.

How to Reach Tsurumi Island in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact Tsurumi Island

To begin the Genshin Impact quest and get to Tsurumi, players need to find and speak to Katheryne at the Adventurer's Guild. This will update the quest, and then players need to seek out Sumida. She is in the northeastern part of Inazuma City just above the city's label on the map. Find her behind the building, they're standing on the wooden platform. Next, go to the dock in Riotu to talk to Kama. Riotu is northwest of Inazuma City past Konda Village. Players will then be teleported to Tsurumi Island.

Once on the island, the mist will need to be cleared from it. Staying in the fog for more than 10 seconds will cause players to become lost in the mist, and they will be teleported back to the last waypoint. Instead of running through blindly, players will need to follow a specific path and light up the Stormstones to move through Tsurumi Island. White lanterns will be light up automatically, but the purple ones require an electro ability to be lit. Using the lanterns, players will be able to reach Ruu and take the next step to clear the fog.

Tsurumi Island has a variety of quests for players to discover and complete. Reaching the island requires speaking to specific characters, and clearing the fog is essential to moving forward in this area. Genshin Impact 2.2 includes several big changes for players to explore as they move through the new Tsurumi Island.
