For Genshin Impact players to use their accumulated Dendro Sigils, they must first unlock the Tree of Dreams in Sumeru. While unlocking it is straightforward, it is also quite easy to miss. This place in the region of Wisdom operates in a similar fashion as the Sacred Sakura, in Inazuma.

Trading in Dendro Sigils increases the players’ level with the specific offering system, called Vanarana's Favor, and, in doing such, they receive numerous rewards. The prizes at the Tree of Dreams in Genshin Impact’s Sumeru include Weapon and Talent Level-Up Materials, Shrine of Depths Keys, and even Acquaint and Intertwined Fates. Of course, players can naturally buy more Fates with the Primogems available in Genshin Impact 3.3 but, some extra help to pull the desired characters is always welcome.

Access the Tree of Dreams in Genshin Impact Through a World Quest

Genshin Impact's Rana is surrounded by hostile Fungi in the Sumeru wildlands.

To start their endeavors in search of the Tree of Dreams and use their Dendro Sigils, Genshin Impact players must have first reached the region of Sumeru. The easiest way to access the questline that will unlock it is taking a sidestep during the normal Archon Quest progression. Once the initial Gandharva Ville arc with Tighnari and Collei has been concluded, players will be prompted to go toward Sumeru City.

This is the moment where they must pay attention since this is where the quest is easily missed. While moving west for Sumeru City, where Genshin Impact’s Billboard Puzzle awaits them, players will follow the path until they reach a crossroads. To go to their destination, they would go normally straight ahead. However, to start the World Quest that grants access to the Tree of Dreams, they must heed Paimon’s warning of a distress call.

At the crossroads, players should follow the path south, where the Traveler finds an NPC under attack by a few Fungi. They should get rid of the opponents and this will initiate the Aranyaka World Quest, which unlocks the Tree of Dreams in Genshin Impact. The initial quest is called Woodland Encounter, as demonstrated by YouTube channel ZaFrostPet.

Sumeru is Genshin Impact’s largest region yet, and completing the questline actually unlocks a whole area called Vanarana, which happens to be the home of the Tree of Dreams. After the Woodland Encounter quest, players should continue following the questline until they complete "Aranyaka: Part II - Dream Nursery, Part 1: The World of Aranara." After this specific part of the World Quest is completed, another World Quest called Trees and Dreams will show up. Its sole purpose is to help players unlock the Tree of Dreams in Vanarana and, subsequently, use their Dendro Sigils.

The Tree of Dreams can be accessed by following the path right to Araja’s House. By reaching it, the "Trees and Dreams" quest will be finished. Players should note that the Aranyaka questline is still a far way from completion, though. There are no Genshin Impact Shrine of Depths inside Sumeru’s Vanarana itself but, players can now use their Dendro Sigils to get Shrine of Depths Keys, which grant access to these bountiful locations.

Dendro Sigil Usage in Genshin Impact’s Tree of Dreams

Different from Inazuma’s Sacred Sakura Favor, which gains a level with every 25 Electro Sigils offered, Vanarana's Favor in the Tree of Dreams is leveled with every 35 Dendro Sigils brought to it. With every level gained, this new offering system rewards Genshin Impact players with 200 Adventure EXP, 10 Mystic Enhancement Ore, 50,000 Mora, and an additional reward depending on the level reached. Level 24’s prize, for instance, is the recently introduced Midlander Polearm Billet, which can be used to craft the Moonpiercer Polearm in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact’s Tree of Dreams currently levels up to rank 45 but should reach 50 with the addition of the leaked new area expected for update 3.4. As of now, the RPG is in version 3.3, which introduced Wanderer as a 5-star Anemo playable character, while bringing back reruns of fan-favorite character banners, hosting multiple events, and more. Genshin Impact 3.3 is expected to last until mid-January 2023 if it follows its usual six-week schedule.
