The world of Genshin Impact is full of treasures for players to find, Domains to explore, and side quests to complete. Most of the side quests in Genshin Impact are pretty straightforward, and even show markers on the map to guide players. However, a few quests forego map markers and only leave players with hints and riddles. "Treasure Lost, Treasure Found" is one of the more confusing quests in Genshin Impact, but finishing the quest chain will net players some valuable rewards.

The quest is initiated in the Guili Plains with an NPC named Soraya. Divided into two parts (for now), Treasure Lost, Treasure Found will require players to explore surrounding ruins in the Liyue region and bring back Jade Plates to Soraya. Completing the quest chain will give players a good chunk of Adventurer EXP, free Primogems, an Exile's Circlet, and a valuable Liyue Shrine of Depths Key.

The first part of Genshin Impact's Treasure Lost, Treasure Found quest involves searching for stone tablets for Soraya. The first is near Luhua Pool while the second is in the Sea of Clouds south of the Guili Assembly. Inspecting the tablets and returning to Soraya at the Wangshu Inn will net players 200 Adventurer EXP, 30 Primogems, and an Exile's Circlet. The next part of the Genshin Impact quest concerns finding Jade Plates, which are scattered around Guili Plains, Luhua Pool, and the Domain of Forsaken Ruins (see photo below). A few are protected by enemies, but none of them are very tough. Genshin Impact's Treasure Lost, Treasure Found quest ends with a final fight against multiple Ruin Hunters and rewards include 400 Adventurer EXP, 50 Primogems, and a Liyue Shrine of Depths Key.

Is Treasure Lost, Treasure Found Continued In Version 1.2

There are multiple treasure hunts and other events in Genshin Impact that are either ongoing or reappear on rotation, like the Marvelous Merchandise event that returned for Version 1.2. For now, though, Genshin Impact's Treasure Lost, Treasure Found quest chain seems to be ended. There doesn't appear to be any additional quests from Soraya in Genshin Impact Version 1.2 for now. However, it seems like the scholar will return at some point with additional quests and rewards.

Upon completing the second part of Treasure Lost, Treasure Found in Genshin Impact, Soraya says, "If you hear any interesting stories, do share them with me next time we meet." This strongly implies players haven't seen the last of Soraya, although she may be skipping this update and headed to the next Genshin Impact content drop that comes with Ganyu. It may even be longer, if Soraya waits until Version 1.3 to reappear.

The quests in Genshin Impact are pretty diverse, but most are straightforward. Some quests, however, can be pretty confusing. Treasure Lost, Treasure Found definitely goes in the latter category, but it comes with some nice rewards. For now, players will have to wait to see whether or not Soraya returns to Genshin Impact with more treasure-hunting quests.
