An unending storm plagues the Seirai Island in Genshin Impact, striking travelers who wish to explore the area with hazardous lightning. Seirai Island is one of the two new islands added in Genshin Impact 2.1's update, yet players hungering for exploration may find the constant electric attacks from the sky to be quite a nuisance. Fortunately, there is a way to clear the skies of Seirai Island; however, the solution entails an entire, complex questline known as "Seirai Stormchasers."

Players looking to farm Seirai Island's Amakumo Fruit for the ascension of Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact will especially want to gather their fruit in peace. Therefore, clearing the violent storm will be a priority. The Seirai Stormchasers quest is composed of four parts and ends with an intense boss battle. To stop the Seirai Island Storm, players must complete the Genshin Impact quest Seirai Stormchasers. To begin the quest, speak to Katheryne in Inazuma City's Adventurers' Guild. She will direct the player to head to Seirai Island and talk to Eiko, an adventurer who is located slightly northwest of Seirai's Waypoint. Next, go to the first Warding Stone, one of four keys to stopping the storm. Speak to Eiko and Taisuke to get started on Part 1 of Seirai Stormchasers.

Genshin Impact Gliding Seirai Island

The quest will direct players to Asase Shrine. The shrine's self-proclaimed caretaker is a black cat named Neko, who will tell the Traveler and Paimon to repair an Offering Box, desecrated by a group of greedy Treasure Hoarders. Find and defeat these enemies in Genshin Impact and search for materials to fix the Offering Box. Once it has been repaired, return to Neko to have her teach the player how to restore the Warding Stone. Go back to where to the place where Eiko and Taisuke are standing. After touching the three paper charm hangers, fix the Warding Stone to its correct position by rotating the bottom stone twice.

The second Warding Stone has three challenging samurai bandits guarding it. Cleanse the sacred area from these Genshin Impact brigands and touch the three paper charm hangars as before. The third paper charm hanger is located north of the Warding Stone. Use the Phase Gate to reach the paper charm. Rotate the top stone three times to repair the second Warding Stone.

The procedure for restoring the third Warding Stone (Part 3 of Seirai Stormchasers) is the same — only this time, the player will need to perform tricky gliding maneuvers using the Thunder Sakura Boughs and Electrograna spread out across floating platforms. After interacting with all the paper charms, restore the third Warding Stone by rotating the top stone three times and the bottom five times.

Every time the player restores a Warding Stone, the Seirai Island Storm will abate, progressively shrinking in size. After reaching the fourth Warding Stone, rotate the stone to the correct position by turning both the top and bottom stones two times. While the lightning storm has now stopped, players must face the final trial of the Seirai Stormchasers quest, a difficult Genshin Impact Inazuma boss known as Thunder Manifestation. The Thunder Manifestation is immune to all Electro attacks, so Pyro or Cryo attacks are recommended to take it down. Defeating the boss and completing the quest will stop the Seirai Island Storm in Genshin Impact.
