After a bit of waiting, fans will finally have a chance to get a new playable character, Eula, in the Genshin Impact 1.5 content. However, Eula isn't the only exciting new addition releasing soon. Her signature weapon, Song of Broken Pines, will also be available through an event Wish for a limited time. Here's everything to know about Song of Broken Pines' release date and pull rates.

The next update to Genshin Impact is still a part of Version 1.5, and these latest additions should carry the game until Version 1.6 releases next month. Some of the new content includes the Windtrace PvP event, the Mimi Tomo and Overflowing Mastery events, Eula's Banner, and the Song of Broken Pines limited-time event Wish.

Admittedly, a lot of attention is around Eula being added in Genshin Impact 1.5. However, the character has been shown carrying the Song of Broken Pines claymore in nearly every piece of promotional art, so fans' interest has definitely piqued. This 5-star weapon is only available for a limited time during the "Epitome Invocation" Wish, so other Wishes and Banners won't allow players to pull Song of Broken Pines.

The "Epitome Invocation" Wish will go live on May 18 at 18:00 world time. As with past event Wishes, this will give players a chance to get the Song of Broken Pines claymore for a limited time. The Wish ends on June 8, meaning there are four weeks for players to save up Primogems and attempt to pull the 5-star weapon. Song of Broken Pines won't be available in the other weapon Wishes, but it will have a boosted rate as part of "Epitome Invocation."

This means the Song of Broken Pines will have a pull rate of about 0.7%, which is on par with the pull rates in Genshin Impact of other featured 5-star weapons. If players make enough unsuccessful attempts, the pity system will guarantee a 5-star weapon is pulled on the 80th attempt. However, this doesn't necessarily guarantee that Song of Broken Pines is the 5-star weapon that gets pulled from "Epitome Invocation," since other 5-star weapons (including the Aquila Favonius also featured on the Banner) are possibilities.

The Song of Broken Pines claymore is expected to be one of the most powerful weapons in the game. And since Eula is expected to be one of the most powerful characters in Genshin Impact, the combination of Eula and Song of Broken Pines could be deadly.
