The new year has brought about several exciting things, including new promo codes for Genshin Impact. For new players, and those who weren't aware, there are promo codes that come out throughout the year, gifting player's free in-game items. These are the items and codes for January 2021 and how/where to use them.
These current codes do not have an expiration date, however, codes do regularly expire and new ones take their place. As far as January 2021 goes, players have two codes available to redeem. Players should also take note that if they get a code that they paid for that these codes cannot be revoked so they should take extra care to follow the following steps.
How to Use Promo Codes in Genshin Impact
For players who have never used a promo code before, there is a specific place that they need to be entered. They will need to head to the Genshin Impact website and select the Redeem Code tab. However, the player will need to log in to their account, have a character created on that account, and connect that account to their miHoYo account in the User Center. Once this has been done the player can simply select their server, character nickname, and the redemption code into the previously linked page.
After they have entered the information and redeemed their code, they should log into their game, and check their in-game mail. Please note that players can only redeem a code on one character, and cannot be used twice on the same character. If a player has an issue with their code working, they should contact the Genshin Impact customer service.

January 2021 Promo Codes:
- GSIMPTQ125 - Redeem this code to receive 60 Primogems and 10,000 Mora.
- GENSHINGIFT - Redeem this code to receive 50 Primogems and three Hero's Wit.
Remember that these codes can only be used once per account, so make sure to put it on the correct account and character. While these two codes work currently, there are several that don't work anymore. These are the previously available codes that players should not waste their time on.
