A new event is coming to Genshin Impact Version 1.6, and it's called "Never-Ending Battle: Island Encampment Challenge." Taking place on the Golden Apple Archipelago, players must contend with a new threat. For a limited time, these unknown enemies can be defeated in order to win plenty of prizes. With Genshin Impact's "Kaboomball Kombat" event coming to an end, the "Never-Ending Battle" will offer fighters another fun challenge to take part in. The event will span ten days, starting July 9, 2021, and running through July 19, 2021. Players must be Adventure Rank 21 and above to be eligible to partake in the event. Unlike several of the past events, the stages cannot be initiated in Co-Op Mode, and contenders will have to assemble their teams to take on the specific Stage Features of each challenge.
Similar to Genshin Impact's "Legend of the Vagabond Sword" event, the 'Never-Ending Battle" challenges will unlock every day until the seventh day. Fans have until the end of the event to complete everything and earn all possible rewards. Before the event begins, users can select the difficulty level, which will dictate how many points will be earned for completing the challenge. Rewards will be given at various score levels based on the target scores achieved. Depending on the points acquired, Primogems, Talent Level-Up Materials, Mystic Enchantment Ores, Hero's Writs, and Mora can all be obtained.
Genshin Impact's Never-Ending Battle Gameplay Details Explained
Before starting the event, players need to equip the gadget Wind-Blessed Harpastum, which is obtained by completing the "Summer Gift" quest that's available through Genshin Impact's 1.6 "Midsummer Island Adventure". As "Never-Ending Battle" challenges open, they will appear at different locations throughout the islands, and each one will have a different Stage Feature or a specific condition. Teams should be suited for whatever the Stage Feature of the challenge is.
Players will need to defeat as many enemies as possible in the time limit to obtain the highest score possible, and scores will be multiplied depending on the difficulty chosen. Throughout the battle, Momentum should be kept up as Momentum Blessings can reward characters with bonus effects and buffs. Momentum is sectioned into three levels: the higher the Momentum, the better the Momentum Blessing will be. Defeating Berserker Opponents will gain Momentum, as well as count as more points toward overall scores. Throughout the battle, Momentums Discs will randomly appear, and players have 15 seconds to destroy them using harpasta before they disappear - and they will also award Momentum. If all party members fall before the time runs out, the current score will be recorded as the final score.
While playing Genshin Impact with friends is normally better, the "Never-Ending Battle" event offers solo fighters the chance to test their skills in a new way.
