Former League of Legends professional player Zach "Sneaky" Scuderi, revealed a brand new cosplay of Genshin Impact character Keqing on Twitter. This is another in a long line of intricate and beautiful cosplays by Sneaky, but this marks perhaps the first time that he has done a Genshin Impact cosplay. In the past, he has tended to stick to cosplays of champions from League of Legends or characters from animes like Nekopara.

Genshin Impact characters have been ripe for cosplay enthusiasts for quite some time. With their intricate costumes and hair tones that are not often seen in the real world, Genshin Impact's characters look like they were pulled right from an anime or manga. In addition, each character has their own unique personality and power set, giving cosplayers the opportunity to express themselves beyond just the clothing they are wearing. For example, one Genshin Impact cosplayer brought the Hydro user Mona to life thanks to special effects on her Instagram post, showing tendrils of water swirling around her. This Keqing cosplay, however, needed no such effects.

The cosplay, which Sneaky posted to his Twitter, shows the former League of Legends pro fully kitted-out as Genshin Impact's Keqing. The post includes two photos that feature Sneaky cosplaying the Electro character, complete with her signature purple hair and Piercing Thunderbolt outfit. Even though Sneaky doesn't pull out all the stops to fully show off Keqing's electric powers with any photo effects or props, the cosplay is still incredible.

Not only do the look of Genshin Impact characters easily lend themselves to cosplay (including multiple unique outfits for each playable character), but players often connect with a certain character's backstory. In Keqing's case, she is introduced as a character with fierce determination and independence. She is also a skeptic, which is rare among her people, and chooses to solve her own problems rather than waiting for the gods to decide her fate. This rich backstory and personality certainly make her an appealing character, before even discussing her electrical abilities like Starward Sword.

The fact that a mobile game, albeit the biggest mobile game perhaps ever, continues to draw such enthusiasm and support from its players is notable enough. But Genshin Impact is clearly transcending beyond the label of a mobile game and has massive cultural significance to all sorts of gamers. If Sneaky's cosplay isn't evidence enough, perhaps Genshin Impact's massive profits are.
