After a bit of a lull in content, Genshin Impact is finally getting another new playable character. Kazuha's Banner introduces the Anemo user and swordsman from Inazuma, giving players a chance to pull him through the Wish system. With the best character builds, Kazuha can be a great addition to just about any team.
Depending on a player's time zone, Kazuha's Banner will release in Genshin Impact on June 29 or June 30. He's a rare character, which means getting him through Wishes (even with the boosted Banner pull rate) will take some luck - and a lot of Primogems. However, those lucky enough to obtain him will find that he can work as either a DPS fighter or Support character to trigger Elemental Reactions.
The key to optimizing Kazuha's character build in Genshin Impact is finding the right weapons and Artifacts. No matter which role players choose to put Kazuha into, some Artifacts and weapons are simply better than others - and some can work for either build. Overall, Kazuha seems to work best on a team when triggering Elemental Reactions for more hard-hitting fighters, although his DPS output is pretty nice too.
Genshin Impact: Kazuha's Best Weapons & Artifacts Explained
No matter which build players go with, the best Artifacts for Kazuha in Genshin Impact are probably from the Viridescent Venerer set. With two pieces equipped, Kazuha will get a 15% Anemo DMG bonus. With all pieces equipped, Kazuha's Swirl DMG is increased by 60% and enemies' Elemental Resistance is decreased by 40% for 10 seconds, meaning they're more susceptible to whatever Element Kazuha's Swirl was infused with.
As with many new characters, Kazuha's Banner in Genshin Impact will debut alongside a new weapons Wish as well. The newest sword to be featured is the Freedom-Sworn, which makes an ideal weapon for Kazuha. This blade increases DMG by 10% and spawns Sigils of Rebellion whenever an Elemental Reaction is triggered. Once enough Sigils are collected, it will trigger Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance, which increases ATK by 20%, as well as Normal, Charged, and Plunging ATK DMG by 16%.
Other current weapons, like The Black Sword or Skyward Blade, can work great for Kazuha as well, since these increase CRIT rate and affect DMG bonuses. Additionally, The Black Sword and the Aquila Favonius can help regenerate Kazuha's HP, making either sword a great choice. For now, these are the best weapons and Artifacts for Kazuha in Genshin Impact, although future updates may add even better options eventually.
