One of the greatest strengths of Genshin Impact is it’s open-world that players can explore. The developers put a lot of time into designing Teyvat’s geography and architecture, which resulted in breathtaking landmarks like Qingyun Peak, the Wangshu Inn, and many others. Adventurers might feel the desire to take a photo of the vistas using the game’s built-in camera, which is found by opening up the menu and pressing the camera button on the left. Unfortunately, they are unable to do so when gliding, climbing, or in combat. Those powerful elemental bursts cannot be caught in pictures. Or can they?

That old camera limitation can now be broken. The Kamera gadget included in the 1.2 update will allow players to take scenic shots in every situation, whether it be on the side of a cliff or mid-boss fight. All they need to do is obtain the Kamera through a quest titled Snapshots, which this guide will provide a walkthrough for.

Completing Liyue Harbor’s Snapshots Quest

Ningguang in Liyue

The Snapshots quest is one of Liyue’s city reputation missions, so both the quest and the Kamera, are only available to explorers with an adventure rank of 25. For new players that have recently reached that level, the woman that offers the missions, Ms. Yu, can be found on the eastern side of Liyue Harbor near the docks. After accepting the quest, head to the center of the city to find Xu. This member of the Feiyun commerce guild can be found standing in-between the city’s northern waypoint and the Mingxing jewelry store. He’s hard to miss, mumbling about his missing master. Speak with Xu to begin his quest.

This gentleman wants the player to help deliver photos to two citizens in Liyue harbor, so no mountain scaling or monster-slaying is required to complete this mission. The first man is named Liu Su, a storyteller employed by the famous Heyu Tea House. Head up the stairs across from the merchant right of the jewelry store to find the Tea Master performing for an audience on a balcony that overlooks the harbor. After delivering the photo to him, players can then move on to Granny Shan the toymaker. She can be found just north of the city’s alchemy station and Eastern waypoint, stationed on the bend. After speaking with her, return to Xu and he’ll gift the kamera device; along with a generous amount of mora for spending money. Now adventurers can take action shots to their heart’s content by equipping the kamera and pressing the Z button!
