Genshin Impact developer miHoYo recently made a small but impactful adjustment to improve the Inazuma crafting bench's functionality. The crafting bench in the Inazuma City hub had been causing players issues since update 2.0 dropped - and it's not the first time this kind of Genshin Impact annoyance has occurred.

When Genshin Impact 2.0 launched, an advertisement board for an in-universe shop was placed directly next to the Inazuma crafting bench. Since both objects can be interacted with, players could easily find themselves accidentally selecting the ad board, launching into a dialogue box instead of the crafting menu. A similar issue can be experienced with Timaeus, an NPC next to the Mondstadt crafting bench, in addition to NPCs and interactable objects in several other crowded areas. In this case, miHoYo took action to remove the possibility of accidental selection.

Reddit user CatWithBlueHat recently noticed miHoYo moved the Inazuma crafting bench advertisement board to a completely different spot, shifting it to the opposite side of the neighboring establishment's front facade. Other fans in the comments were happy about the change, but many lamented other areas that still need decluttering. Besides the aforementioned Timaeus problem, players pointed out an advertisement board and an NPC near Inazuma blacksmith Hajime, as well as a cooking pot, ad board, and NPC near Shimura's, a shop in Inazuma.

Crafting benches allow Genshin Impact players to convert certain materials into a variety of helpful items - and to improve items already in their arsenals - so they're a vital part of progressing through the game. Materials can be brought to various crafting benches located all throughout Teyvat and combined through Alchemy to create weapons, potions and more, but some players have taken to favoring certain locations' crafting benches specifically because there are no roadblocks like the Inazuma advertisement board or Timaeus there.

Now that miHoYo has moved the ad board, freeing up the area around the Inazuma crafting bench, those who wish to take part in Genshin Impact's new Mystic Offerings system can do so without distractions. Unfortunately, those other advertisement boards with similarly suboptimal placements remain, but this fix could indicate miHoYo is planning to touch up those locations, as well. For now, it's apt to try out the new features of the Genshin Impact 2.0 update in the new nation of Inazuma, anyway.
