A recently discovered Genshin Impact glitch allows players to reach Inazuma long before they reach Adventure Rank 30. Inazuma, a Japan-inspired location consisting of a chain of islands, is the latest major region that released for the popular live-service game with Genshin Impact 2.0 update. While longtime players of Genshin Impact were likely able to travel to the region as soon as it was released, newer players first have to meet certain requirements to get to Inazuma.

The Inazuma region was one of the most anticipated additions to Genshin Impact leading up to the 2.0 update, as it introduced a play area with many new quests to complete and characters to meet. Two of the region's playable characters hyped up by developer and the game's online community are Kamisato Ayaka, whose banner is currently available, and Genshin Impact's Electro Archon Baal, who is also known as the God of Eternity or the Raiden Shogun.

Before diving into Inazuma, though, players first must first achieve Adventure Rank 30 and complete the “Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves” quest. However, Reddit user dezeadmf was able to reach the new region with an Adventure Rank 9 account. Dezeadmf shared a video proving that their account is well below the requirement, and yet their character was still on Narukami Island, one Inazuma's subregions and the home of upcoming playable character Yoimiya. According to dezeadmf, they were able to reach Genshin Impact's Inazuma by using a combination of ice bridges from characters like Kaeya until they reached the thunderstorm that protects Inazuma, which normally prevents players from reaching the island in this manner. They then paused the game, disconnected their internet connection, unpaused, swam, reconnected briefly, and repeated this process until they finally arrived at their destination.

If this seems very difficult, tedious, and time-consuming, it's because it is. According to dezeadmf, it took them around six or seven hours to successfully exploit the ice bridge glitch because of how often the method would fail midway. Since succeeding in their attempt, dezeadmf has reached Adventure Rank 16 in Genshin Impact and has even invited other players to join them in game sessions in order to see their underleveled character for themselves.

Other players have reported successfully crossed the sea to Inazuma by combining their abilities to form a long enough ice bridge and protecting one another from the thunderstorm in order to reach Inazuma. Remarkably, though, Dezeadmf was able to accomplish this all on their own, making the feat even more impressive than the time and dedication it normally takes to pull it off with help. Most players may want to consider simply reaching Genshin Impact's new region the normal way, but those who would like to try their hand at the ice bridge glitch solo now have proof that it can be done.
