Players will need to complete the Fleeting Colors in Flight event to get the Launch Tube which can then be used to shoot fireworks at any time in Genshin Impact. The Lantern Rite is a limited-time event, so players will only have a few weeks to participate in it and claim their Launch Tube gadget.
Before players can participate and earn the Launch Tube, they will need to unlock the Lantern Rite event in Genshin Impact. Players will need to reach Adventure Rank 23 before they can access the Lantern Rite event. The Archon quest, "Of the Land Amidst Monoliths," as well as Xiao's story quest will also need to be completed. Once the requirements are met, players can start quests in the Lantern Rite event and earn exclusive rewards like the Launch Tube.
In order to obtain the Launch Tube, players will need to start the Fleeting Colors in Flight event and complete the quest, "The Blazing Stars Ring in Fortune." This will unlock the Flameplume Starpower minigame where players will need to create and launch fireworks for various rewards, including Genshin Impact's Primogems. Once players complete the firework-launching minigame, they'll be able to keep the Launch Tube and use it to shoot fireworks anywhere.
Unlocking the Launch Tube in Genshin Impact
The Flameplume Starpower minigame lets players smelt their own fireworks and will rate the quality of them based on color, size, and height. Players can use the single smelt function to raise each of these stats until the bar is in the ideal zone. Players will receive a quality score depending on how close to the ideal zone each parameter is. The higher the quality, the more rewards players will receive. The Launch Tube is an automatic reward that players can keep just for starting the minigame.
Players can launch fireworks by selecting the Launch Tube and choosing the option to get ready to launch. This will bring up a menu where players can choose the fireworks they want to launch on the left side of the screen, then set the interval and delay parameters on the right side. When players have everything set up, they can select the option to begin launching, then watch the fireworks show. The Launch Tube will stay in the same spot until the fireworks are finished, so players can back up and enjoy the show from a distance, then the Genshin Impact gadget will be returned to them automatically.
Along with obtaining the Launch Tube, the Flameplume Starpower minigame will reward players with Primogems, Mora, Affluence Talismans, and materials for leveling up. Players will also receive fireworks that they can shoot outside of the minigame. Fireworks may be a limited resource that players can only obtain during the Lantern Rite event, so it's recommended that players stock up on them if they want to be able to use the Launch Tube once the event ends.
