Genshin Impact offers players free Primogems on a fairly frequent basis but, there is one specific way to get a few of these desired rewards that is absolutely ridiculous. It is common for players to acquire the in-game currency used for buying Intertwined and Acquaint Fates as rewards for completing Archon Quests, World Quests, Events, and many other activities. There are even a few Primogems given out through the daily login feature in the HoYoLab app, for instance.
Every 160 Primogems can be exchanged for Fates in Paimon’s Bargains in-game store, which then allows them to pull for characters and weapons in the gacha system. The ridiculous method of acquiring a few free Primogems in Genshin Impact is actually tied to a hidden achievement in-game. The achievement is called “Boared to Death”, and requires players to have any one character in their team killed by a wild boar while exploring Teyvat. If a hero is hit by the animal’s sprinting tackle, they will lose HP and, subsequently, be prone to death, depending on how much HP they originally had.
After this is done, players need only to complete and claim the Genshin Impact achievement. Of course, the boars’ attacks are very weak and inflict a ludicrously small amount of damage to characters’ HP bars, so even a level 1 character at less than 1,000 HP should resist the blow, and after it, the animal will disappear. There is, however, a straightforward tactic for players who want to get the achievement done correctly and, consequently, acquire the free Primogems in Genshin Impact.
Hidden Achievements In Genshin Impact Are Great For Free Primogems
The first and most important step is to lower a character’s HP bar to the point that a hit from the boar will be sufficient to kill them. To do so, there are multiple methods. Players tend to make their characters jump from cliffs, but that could easily kill them, too. Using a source of constant and little damage, like fire from a torch, can give the players more control over this step, which will grant them free Primogems from the hidden achievement in Genshin Impact. This is an old achievement that dates back to version 1.0, so if a player’s character gets killed by a boar and the achievement isn’t unlocked, it is likely it already has been done. Hopefully, the extra Primogems for does who hadn’t concluded it can be used to purchase more Acquaint Fates and bring their desired 5-star characters to their Genshin Impact roster.
