Genshin Impact Paimon giveaway from Razer has caught fans attention for the chance to win not one, but two different representations of the iconic companion from the open-world gacha game. Genshin Impact, from Chinese developer miHoYo, has quickly established itself as one of mobile gaming's brightest stars thanks to its incredibly deep Breath of the Wild-inspired gameplay mixed with its cross-compatibility with PC and mobile devices alongside a PS4 version without cross-progression.

Genshin Impact is still a relatively new game and given its mobile and gacha roots, that means its story has really only just started progressing towards any semblance of clarity. While plenty of new characters have been introduced and players are much closer to the mystery of the world of Teyvat than they were at launch, a lot of the game's core concepts remain murkey. One thing that's been present from the beginning - for better or worse, depending on which players are being asked - is Genshin Impact's Paimon, the companion character who helps acclimate new players to the game and remains present in story scenes following that. Paimon is essentially the Genshin Impact mascot, even if they're a divisive inclusion in narrative beats.

Those who lean towards loving the tiny but fierce companion will want to check out the new Genshin Impact Paimon giveaway from Razer. The company announced on the official Razer Twitter account that it would be giving away three prize bundles to help celebrate Genshin Impact adding iOS mobile controller  support in its version 1.3 update. Those prize bundles include two different kinds of Paimon merchandise: a small, desk-adorning figurine and a larger collectible plushie. Those two prizes are being given away in conjunction with the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro earbuds and a Razer Kishi accessory for iPhone.

The Genshin Impact Paimon Razer giveaway isn't going to be around for long, with an end date of February 8, 2021, so those interested will want to enter immediately. Luckily, entry is pretty simple, as fans need only like, follow the Razer Twitter account, and reply to the contest announcement with their favorite Genshin Impact character. Presumably, not saying Paimon won't impact anyone's chances, but perhaps it's best to play it safe given the vindictive nature of the Genshin Impact mascot.

For a simple contest, a lot of players are excited. That speaks to the strength of the Genshin Impact story, which continues to drive players into its open world even when things get grindy while waiting for major updates. Genshin Impact version 1.3 just released and with it comes Xiao, a heavily sought-after character, so fans are buzzing - a perfect time to contribute to that with a small contest celebrating Genshin Impact's Paimon and Razer's mobile gaming lineup.
