The new 1.1 update for Genshin Impact is releasing next week, and developer miHoYo has already teased various changes and new content via a livestream. While the update is introducing several new playable characters to Genshin Impact, it's also allowing fans to obtain Fischl for free. This Electro user with a bow is very powerful in the game, and she's one of Genshin Impact's best characters.
Frequently ranked as an S-tier character in Genshin Impact, Fischl is one of the most popular characters in the game. She's also incredibly rare, since the only way to currently acquire her is through the game's gacha pull Wish system. Thankfully, that's all about to change when the 1.1 update arrives and gives players a chance to get her for free.
Alongside the various quality-of-life updates and new story content coming to Genshin Impact 1.1, there's also a new event called Unreconciled Stars. The event is made up of three separate parts: Unknown Stars, Stars of Deceitful Dreams, and Star of Destiny. Completing all three segments of the Unreconciled Stars event will reward players with a free Fischl. However, that may be easier said than done.
Getting Fischl For Free In The Unreconciled Stars Event
The Unreconciled Stars event is the first seasonal event in Genshin Impact, which means it will only be available for a limited time. Featuring a special Event Shop and guidelines, the Unreconciled Stars event could be challenging, especially for newcomers, because of the way the game locks players out of content based on Adventurer Ranks. The stages themselves may not be easy either, as evident from the gauntlet-like Spiral Abyss.
When Genshin Impact first released, Xiangling could be acquired for free through the Spiral Abyss. This was done by completing Chamber 3, Floor 3 of the Spiral Abyss, which could only be unlocked after players attained Adventurer Rank 20. The trials inside were quite challenging, which meant getting Xiangling for free wasn't as easy as it seemed. This will likely be the case for Fischl in the Unreconciled Stars event, since miHoYo won't want to make acquiring the character too easy.
Although getting through all of the Unreconciled Stars event may not be easy, fans will have to wait until the 1.1 update arrives to know for sure. Still, a series of challenges may be better than relying on RNG and luck to pull Fischl through the Wish system. Getting a character like Fischl for free in Genshin Impact is definitely a good reward that will likely entice a lot of players when 1.1 arrives next week.
