One of the latest events, Energy Amplifier Initiation, also gives players a chance to get Diona without spending real money. However, for those who want to get Diona for free in Genshin Impact, completing the Energy Amplifier Initiation event may be the best way to add her to a party.
In order to access the event, players will need to be at Adventure Rank 20 or higher. Once activated, three places of interest will be highlighted for players to visit during each Act. Here, they'll come face-t0-face with a variety of enemies, which will reward them with Irminsul Fruit Fragments. Players can equip these onto their new Energy Amplifier, which will allow them to get Fractured Fruit Data in Domains and the Twisted Realm. In order to get the Fractured Fruit Data, players will have to successfully complete the Domain, and each new Domain can only be completed once per Act. This will unlock a stage of the Twisted Realm for even more Fractured Fruit Data, which can be exchanged at the Event Shop for rewards that include Primogems, Crowns of Insight, Mora, and EXP materials. This is also where players can get Diona for free.
In order to get Diona for free in Genshin Impact 1.5, players will have to exchange 1,000 Fractured Fruit Data at the Event Shop. Additionally, Diona can only be purchased once through the Event Shop, so players won't be able to get duplicates for character Ascension materials or Constellations. Genshin Impact doesn't offer free characters often, so it's great that developer miHoYo is offering players a chance to get Diona without having to spend any real-world money.
