Genshin Impact recently leaked three new characters that are likely coming to the game soon. One of these characters was Yoimiya, a firework maker from Inazuma with a fun and unique design. Leakers have speculated that the new five-star will have her own banner in the next update, along with the release of Inazuma.

Yoimiya is a Pyro bow user rumored to be coming in the 1.7 Update. While her necessary materials haven’t been revealed yet, there are certain artifacts and materials players can farm now to prepare for when she comes out. Here are all the materials players can farm for Yoimiya before her official release.

How to Farm for Yoimiya Before Inazumas Release in Genshin Impact

Much like the leaks surrounding Ayaka, it seems most of Yoimiya’s ascension and talent level-up materials will be new items that will come along with the Inazuma update. However, there are a few items players can farm now to prepare.

In regards to her ascension materials, Yoimiya needs Scrolls and Agnidus Agate gems. Scrolls can be obtained by killing Samachurls, who are found in their different varieties throughout the map. Agnidus Agate is dropped mainly by the Pyro Regisvine, but can also be obtained by beating the Lupus Boreas. The Pyro Regisvine can be done multiple times a day for 40 Resin, while the Lupus Boreas can only be done once a week for 30 Resin.

For talent ascension materials, Yoimiya needs Dragon Lord’s Crowns to ascend her talents in the later levels. This item is dropped by Azhdaha: a weekly boss that requires 30 Resin to claim rewards for. The Lv. 70+ Azhdaha challenge has a chance of dropping this item or dropping an item that can be converted into it, so players should be doing this boss fight every week to prepare as much as possible if they’re looking to build Yoimiya’s talents (which require 6 each to max out).

Yoimiya seems to be a Pyro DPS, with many of her constellations and talents providing ATK boosts. Because of this, the Crimson Witch of Flames set will likely be a great artifact set for Yoimiya. This set provides huge Pyro DMG boosts, as well as DMG boosts for Pyro-related Elemental Reactions. While there may be a better artifact set for Yoimiya released in Inazuma, this set is a fantastic one to stock up on to use for Yoimiya when she comes out.

Finally, leveling up a character's level, talents, and artifacts requires a large amount of Mora and EXP Books. These can be obtained by farming the two different kinds of Ley Line Outcrops around Teyvat, which only take 20 Resin each. By following these steps, players should be well prepared to build Yoimiya once she releases, even before Inazuma is out.
