A lot of attention has been on the 1.5 update and PS5 version for Genshin Impact. However, these aren't the only two new topics for fans to be excited about. A new fan art and cosplay event is now underway, offering people a chance to submit their artwork and cosplay designs in exchange for prizes. Here's everything fans should know about submission start dates and prize issuances.
The latest fan event for Genshin Impact is called "Zhongli: Heart of Bedrock." This means all artwork and cosplay ideas need to represent Zhongli in some way. Thanks to the 1.5 update, Zhongli has a Banner rerun in Genshin Impact, so this fan event is likely meant to coincide with that.
In order to participate, fans will need to comply with developer miHoYo's rules and guidelines. Artwork and cosplay photos must be shared on Twitter and must have the hashtags #Zhongli and #HeartofBedrock to be entered. The fan art portion of the contest will happen first, with submissions starting on April 28 and running through May 19, 2021. The results will be shared the first week of June, and the winner should get their prizes issued starting on June 8. Prizes include in-game Primogems and real-world Genshin Impact merchandise.
Genshin Impact's Cosplay Contest & Prizes Explained
While the "Zhongli: Heart of Bedrock" event kicks off with fan art submissions, there is also a great Genshin Impact cosplay portion in which fans can participate. To enter, fans will once again have to comply with the rules and guidelines, which are found on HoYoLAB, and use the hashtags #Zhongli and #HeartofBedrock on Twitter to enter. The cosplay portion of the event begins on May 20 and runs through June 17. Results are expected to be shared sometime between June 29 and July 5, with prizes starting to be issued on July 6.
