Genshin Impact’s single fishing point in Desert of Hadramaveth can be easily missed, considering how vast the new region added by the 3.4 update actually is. The area is an extension of Sumeru’s desert biome and home to a variety of new enemies and lifeforms. There are also many new stories to be uncovered within the Desert of Hadramaveth, which harbors many underground secrets, including a few that involve King Deshret and the Goddess of Flowers.

The Desert of Hadramaveth sub-region includes Genshin Impact’s Setekh Wenut, the sandworm boss, and is also where the Domain of Blessing: City of the Deceased is located. Desert of Hadramaveth’s fishing point in Genshin Impact is hidden in one such area. Luckily, access to it is quite simple, and players are not required to have progressed through any specific Sumeru World Quests to do so.

Genshin Impact's Desert Of Hadramaveth’s Fishing Point Location

Desert of Hadramoveth's fishing spot in Genshin Impact, as seen in HoYoLAB's interactive map.

According to HoYoLAB’s official Interactive Map, there is only one fishing point in Genshin Impact’s Desert of Hadramaveth sub-region. This unique spot is located in the northern area of the map, in the Debris of Panjvahe, but is hidden underground. Players will need to access it through a tunnel (photo below), much like Genshin Impact’s City of the Deceased domain. The fishing spot is located in the middle of a river surrounded by enemies. Players should carefully dispose of them without scaring off the fish.

According to Game8, there are a total of five different species that can be caught in Desert of Hadramaveth’s fishing spot in Genshin Impact. As is the case with most fishing spots, the fish that appear here vary depending on the time of the day. During the day, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. (in-game), players can encounter:

  • Sandstorm Angler
  • True Fruit Angler
  • Halcyon Jade Axe Marlin
  • Lazurite Axer Marlin

At night, between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. (in-game), the fish that spawn are:

  • Sunset Cloud Angler
  • Halcyon Jade Axe Marlin
  • Lazurite Axe Marlin.

These fish are available in many of Genshin Impact’s fishing locations in Sumeru, so this is but an additional spot for farming fish.

To fish in the Desert of Hadramaveth’s fishing spot in Genshin Impact, players will need to exclusively use Sugardew Bait, since all the species there are attracted to that bait type. The bait’s crafting formula can be acquired at the Sumeru Fishing Association, where players can also get the Serendipity Fishing Rod. Serendipity is the recommended tool for the job due to the fact that it increases a player’s chance of success while fishing in Sumeru.

The new fishing spot in Genshin Impact’s Desert of Hadramaveth is one of the new additions included in Version 3.4. The update has also brought new enemies to fight and storylines to explore, alongside playable characters Alhaitham and Yaoyao. Genshin Impact 3.4 also has many events planned with bountiful rewards for players to claim, including free Primogems and Intertwined Fates.
