A Genshin Impact cosplayer's partner has created a breathtaking replica of Beidou's iconic Blackcliff Slasher. Beidou is a fan-favorite Electro character from the beautiful Liyue region of Genshin Impact. She also happens to be very popular to cosplay, and her huge red and black claymore is a staple.

Each playable character in Genshin Impact has their own unique visuals, including weapons and additional costumes that can be unlocked. The standard outfits they wear are inspired by the regions they hail from, which are in turn heavily influenced by cultures in the real world and the element the characters utilize. Fans continuously ask developer HoYoverse for additional costumes, since only a few playable characters have them, but there's no doubt that the default costumes and weapons for each character are iconic and fit their personalities. Cosplayers pay special attention to these details as well.

A cosplayer that goes by kamuicosplays on Instagram is known for sharing their cosplay creation process, which recently included a 3D printed Genshin Impact Blackcliff Slasher. According to Kamui, Beidou's claymore took over 150 hours for their partner to 3D print and an extra 50 to fit the pieces together, glue, sand, and paint. The Slasher is extremely accurate to Genshin, with intense colors and shiny texture, and goes great alongside Kamui's entire cosplay, which took them roughly 6 weeks.

Genshin Impact Beidou Cosplay Is Extremely Impressive

Kamuicosplay captured every breathtaking detail in Beidou's outfit and weapon, and fans in the comments are full of praise. The cosplayer shares every aspect of the process as well, which has seemingly inspired others to cosplay on their own. Genshin Impact's cosplay community has been hyped even more lately, due to the upcoming release of Genshin Impact 3.0 and Sumeru's new playable characters.

Genshin Impact 3.0 is officially set to release on August 24 and will include the brand new Dendro region Sumeru and three new playable characters named Collei, Tighnari, and Dori. HoYoverse also announced the rest of the update's release dates for the rest of the year, which switches the update schedule from every six weeks to every five weeks. With 4 more updates in 2022, Genshin Impact fans have a lot to look forward to. Some even believe that the recent reveal of even more frequent updates and rewards for players is due to the recent release of what is believed to be Genshin Impact's new rival Tower of Fantasy.
