Players in Genshin Impact have a wide array of dishes to cook for their meals. From pancakes and hashbrowns to salads and filets, there are plenty of options for adventurers to chow down on. Each dish grants a different effect when eaten, such as health restoration or stamina conservation. Cooking and consuming the game's assortment of cuisine is a great way to prepare for boss fights and powerful enemies. One dish stands above the rest for combat success: Adeptus' Temptation.

The only five-star dish at launch, Adeptus' Temptation is a filling delicacy made with meats, seafood, and mushrooms. Eating one will increase the entire party's attack by a substantial amount, as well as their critical rate. Needless to say, this superfood can help players get through tough encounters. Obtaining the recipe for it isn't as simple as buying it from a restaurant, but is possible to do without any adventure rank prerequisites. For those looking for an edge in combat, here's how to locate the recipe for Adeptus' Temptation, and the ingredients needed to cook it.

How to Find the Recipe for Adeptus’ Temptation

Diluc Genshin Impact

Players can obtain the recipe for this delicacy by heading to the teleport waypoint at the top of Qingyun Peak. There, they’ll find a statue right next to the waypoint that speaks of three divine birds. These fowl are also statues, and they’re found at the top of three mountains in the area. If one were to rotate each bird so they face Qingyun Peak, then a path to the hidden island will open up! Each peak has a teleporter on it, but if this is an explorer’s first time in the region, the statues can easily be accessed by gliding from the peak of Qingyun to each respective destination. Listed below are the locations of all three.

  • Fly towards Qingyun’s statue of the seven for the closest bird statue. It’s found on the stone pillar on the other side of the path.
  • Next is the one on Mt. Hulao on the other side of the chasm. This statue can’t be found next to this area’s waypoint but atop the stone pillar north of it. When gliding from Qingyun, be sure to aim for this pillar instead of the teleporter.
  • The furthest right statue is on the top of Mt. Aozang. It can easily be identified by the giant lake on it, but the statue is found among the trees near its waypoint.

Once all of the birds face Qingyun peak, the statue from before will create a gust of wind that players can ride up into the sky. It won’t dissipate, so feel free to return anytime.  After climbing up some floating rocks in the air, players will reach the hidden abode. In addition to the recipe for the Adeptus’ Temptation, there are several other chests filled with valuable resources like mora and adventurers' experience.

Cooking Adeptus’ Temptation

Diluc is talking to a grocery merchant in Liyue harbor in Genshin Impact.

With the recipe learned, players are ready to cook the dish. There are four ingredients needed: four ham, three shrimp, three crabs, and three matsutake mushrooms. Here are the places where novice chefs can find all of them to prepare this lavish soup.

Ham

  • The Wanmin restaurant in Liyue and the Good Hunter in Mondstat both sell a limited amount of Ham per week for 630 mora. Alternatively, players can cook it themselves with two raw meat and one salt.

Crab

  • Crab can be found on the shores of various beaches around Teyvat. If one doesn't have time to harvest crabs, they are sold at stores in Liyue Harbor for 240 mora.

Shrimp

  • These crustaceans cannot be caught anywhere in the wild, but are purchasable in two vendors in Liyue Harbor. The first, Second Life, is located near the southern bridge that leads to Mt. Tianheng. The other shop is run by Uncle Sun on the docks near the city’s Ministry of Civil Affairs. The former sells them for 120 and has a large supply, while the latter sells them fresh for 150 with less.

Matsutake

  • The last ingredient is a special mushroom native to Liyue. Aspiring chefs can find it growing in forests in the region, but the Wanmin restaurant also sells them for 300 a shroom.
