Dragons are a common staple in any fantasy action-RPG, but not too often do we get to throw down with them. Dvalin previously apart of "the four winds" of Mondstadt uses an ancient ruin as his lair. Players must deal with Dvalin in order to progress the game and bring peace to the citizens of Mondstadt in Genshin Impact.

Dvalin or "Storm Terror" is a dragon that was once close to the God of Mondstadt Barbatos, now known as Venti. Venti, the Traveler, Diluc, and Jean the acting Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius, set out to enter what is known as "Storm Terror's lair" and quell his rampaging. After securing, repairing, and rejuvenating the Holy Lyre, once players hit Adventure rank 18, they will be able to break the enormous barrier and enter Dvalin's domain. Here's how players can break the final seals before entering the dungeon.

Breaking the Seals on Storm Terror's Lair in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact StormTerror's Lair

First things first, Stormterror's lair consists of a huge domain full of ruins and enemies. Toward the center are giant barriers of wind guarding the main construct. Players will first have to climb counter-clockwise around the large ruin in the center of the lair. Once players make to the top after a variety of fights and climbing/jumping puzzles, something looking like an altar will be on the top floor. These altars or devices are called Light actuators. After having a brief conversation, players will be directed to grab a glowing prismatic pyramid on the ground nearby and place it within the device. Afterward, a cut scene will reveal 3 more Light Actuators around the map. There is a hole in the ceiling on the top floor, simply glide out if it and head towards the Light Actuator straight ahead.

Each Actuator is located immediately nearby a fast travel point. In case players decide to explore the region before ascending the main tower, activate all the fast travel points. Near each Actuator, there will be glowing lights rising from the ground. Some of these lights might be on elevated constructs or rocks nearby. Players may find themselves climbing or dropping down into a few spaces in order to collect the prismatic pyramids located in the center of these lights. There are 3 of these prisms in total near each Actuator. Collect one at a time or all 3 at once, doesn't really matter. Some prisms are behind wind barriers so climb something high enough to glide above it. Drop down the center and grab the prism to disperse the barrier. Once each Actuator is completed, a seal will release itself until all 3 are done, allowing players to enter the dungeon. Be careful not to walk to far outside of the quest area around each Actuator. It's denoted by a large yellow circle on the mini-map. Walking outside of it will cause the prisms to disappear, so players will have to recollect them.
