Each of these characters is a solid choice for a main DPS character, especially those who use polearm weapons. Xiao is one of the best main DPS characters in all of Genshin Impact and has been popular since his original introduction. Shenhe is a new Genshin Impact character, and her effectiveness has yet to be fully determined. However, she seems to be a great alternative to Xiao as a main DPS character.
The Best Banners And Wishes To Pull In Genshin Impact 2.4 (January 2022)
The four-star characters included in the next Genshin Impact 2.4 banners are Yun Jin, Ningguang, and Chongyun. Yun Jin is a Geo Polearm user, Ningguang is a Geo Catalyst User, and Chongyun is a Cryo Claymore user. Since each new banner contains the same four-star characters, players will most likely aim for the featured five-star characters when pulling wishes. Out of the two new banners in Genshin Impact 2.4, the best character is Xiao. Xiao is one of the most popular DPS characters in the game for a reason, and he is debatably better than the new five-star character Shenhe. However, Shenhe with the right team of characters is a force to be reckoned with.
When putting together a team in Genshin Impact, players will always want to have an effective main DPS character. The drop rate boosts for Shenhe and Xiao in the first two banners of Genshin Impact 2.4 gives a convenient opportunity to snag a main polearm-based DPS character until January 25. Although players are not guaranteed to get either five-star character in their wish pulls, the banners are still worth spending primogems on just to get a chance at acquiring these main DPS polearm users.
