Aloy is the first-ever crossover character to join Genshin Impact. She comes along with her own builds, weapons, and artifacts for players to level up. Genshin Impact remains one of the biggest free-to-play titles in the world. While the game does feature microtransactions in the form of Wishing for new 5-star characters, players can experience the main bulk of the game without having to dish out more cash. Aloy of Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden Woods is the first character to join the roster that is not from the world of Teyvat.
Currently, this Genshin Impact character is only available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 players. This makes sense as the Horizon series is known for its ties to the PlayStation brand. Although, Aloy will be releasing for mobile and PC on November 24th for version 2.2, making this character a timed exclusive. Players can claim her for free by checking their mailboxes. She also comes along with a matching Predator Bow to go along with her release. Players will want to grab her before the event comes to a close.
Since Aloy is a 5-star character, she's incredibly valuable to have on one's team. She can function as a DPS or sub-DPS depending on what the rest of the team is for the player. Here is the best build to run when playing as Aloy.
The Best Aloy Build in Genshin Impact
Aloy is a Cyro character in Genshin Impact, meaning that she will overall benefit from artifacts and weapons that boost Cyro damage.
- Weapon: Predator Bow: This is the weapon that Aloy comes along with. Dealing Cyro damage to opponents will increase the normal and charged attack damage by 10 for 6 seconds. This can be stacked 2 times. It will also increase her damage by 66. For players looking for an alternative, the Thundering Pulse is a good replacement.
- Artifacts: Blizzard Strayer: Players can opt to have 4 pieces of 2 pieces, but the Crit rate goes up 10% against enemies that are affected by Cryo and an additional 20% if the enemies are frozen. Players can run 2 pieces of Gladiator's Finale if they don't have a full 4-set of Blizzard Strayer.
- Talents: Players will need Philosophies, Guide, and Teaching of Freedom to level them up. They are all great, but focusing on her normal attacks will work best since this is the one players will use the most.
Players won't be able to level up Aloy's Constellation in Genshin Impact, since the version collected through the in-game mail is the only way for players to obtain her. She is not currently available in the Wish mechanic, but this will likely change in the future. This might occur once Aloy is available on other platforms.
