As usual, space will be very limited and there's no guarantee that fans who register will get into the beta. Currently in its 2.0 content, Genshin Impact updates arrive every six weeks, with smaller patches adding in events and Banners (like the new Yoimiya Event Wish) throughout the course of an update. miHoYo typically announces beta tests through its official Discord servers, and these betas usually occur a few weeks before another update launches. For instance, fans can register for the Version 2.2 beta about three weeks before Version 2.1 goes live.

Because of the large number of fans trying to get in, the chances of being selected for the beta test are pretty slim. Genshin Impact is an enormously popular game, so many people from around the globe will be attempting to get into the beta test for Version 2.2. The sign-ups are only open for a limited time, so fans only have until August 13 at 12 pm GMT +8 to register.
