Yoimiya is confirmed to be a new playable character during Genshin Impact's Version 2.0 update. Hearing this news, fans are eagerly waiting to pull for the famed pyrotechnician of Inazuma. She was officially revealed by miHoYo in early June on social media platforms. After the reveal, leaks showcasing her Skills and Talents were widespread online. For players planning to roll on her Banner, here's everything known about Yoimiya right now.

Yoimiya is a 5-star Pyro Vision user who wields a bow in battle. Her attacks are animated with beautiful explosions and fireworks, fitting for her title as the Queen of the Summer Festival. During the Version 2.0 livestream, miHoYo confirmed that Yoimiya will officially arrive during the second half of Genshin Impact's 2.0 update, after Ayaka's Banner.

Genshin Impact 2.0: Yoimiya Release Date, Skills, & Attacks

Genshin Impact Yoimiya

Yoimiya's Normal Attack is called Firework Flare-Up, which consists of 5 consecutive shots with her bow. Her Charged Attack has two charge levels, similar to Ganyu in Genshin Impact. The first charge level fires a flaming arrow dealing Pyro damage. The second charge level creates up to three Kindling Arrows depending on how long the player charges the attack. Upon firing, the Kindling Arrows will act like a homing missile that will seek out nearby enemies, dealing Pyro damage on hit.

Yoimiya's Elemental Skill, called the Niwabi Fire-Dance, infuses her normal attacks with Blazing Arrows, dealing Pyro damage to enemies with every shot. Yoimiya's Elemental Burst is known as the Ryuukin Saxifrage and has a beautiful fireworks animation where she jumps into the air and fires an explosive arrow that deals AoE Pyro damage. The attack also marks one enemy with an Aurous Blaze, which will explode once the target receives damage from any party member other than Yoimiya.

Yoimiya is set to arrive after Ayaka's Banner in Genshin Impact's 2.0 update. Players can expect the Version 2.0 update on July 21. The exact date for Yoimiya's Banner hasn't been announced, but if miHoYo were to follow their three-week release schedule, she could arrive on August 1o. Fans of Yoimiya will have to wait a bit longer before attempting to pull for her, but this is a great opportunity for players to save more Primogems in preparation for her release.
