The Version 2.0 update for Genshin Impact has finally arrived, bringing with it the long-awaited Inazuma region and new playable characters like Ayaka. As with most updates to the free-to-play RPG from miHoYo, Version 2.0 also introduces new weapons and Artifacts for players to acquire. Here's everything to know about each one.

Admittedly, most of the fan focus with Genshin Impact updates falls on new playable characters, but Version 2.0 is no ordinary update. Now that Inazuma has arrived, players have an entirely new island nation to explore, storylines to play through, and side quests to undertake. Of course, the new Domains and world bosses that come with major content patches like this are also included - along with plenty of new Artifacts and weapons.

The Inazuma region in Genshin Impact is based around the Electro Element, so naturally many of the new weapons and Artifacts have been added with that in mind. And since Ayaka's Banner is now live, several of the new weapons - like the Mistsplitter Reforged - are designed for the newest playable characters. As with other updates, many of the weapons have to be acquired through the game's gacha Wish system.

There are several new weapons added to Genshin Impact 2.0. Most of these are 4-star weapons; however, the Mistsplitter Reforged is a 5-star sword and the Thundering Pulse is a 5-star bow. The 4-star weapons in the new update include the Amenoma Kageuchi, a sword with a Forging Blueprint that can be obtained through the quest "The Farmer's Treasure," and the Katsuragikiri Nagamasa claymore and the Hamayumi bow (both of which have blueprints found through exploration). The Kitain Cross Spear has a Forging Blueprint that's obtained after the "Orobashi's Legacy" quest, and the blueprint for the Hakushin Ring catalyst weapon can be acquire by finishing up "Yougou Cleansing."

New Artifacts have also been added to Genshin Impact in Version 2.0. The Shimenawa's Reminiscence Artifacts focus on raising ATK and Plunging Attacks. The Emblem of Severed Fate set boosts Elemental Recharge and equipping four pieces from this set will also increase Elemental Burst damage. These Artifacts can be found in one of the new Inazuma Domains, the Momiji-Dyed Court.

These will likely be the only weapons and Artifacts added to Version 2.0, although more will certainly arrive in future updates. For those looking to optimize character builds for Ayaka, the Mistsplitter Reforged is perfect, but the other weapons can make great fits for other existing characters. Beyond that, hunting for Forging Blueprints in Genshin Impact is always fun - even if players don't really need the weapon themselves.
