Genshin Impact's 2.0 livestream was full of information regarding the new Inazuma region. Finally, long-awaited rumors have been put to rest about the new characters arriving in the 2.0 update. From full confirmations to teases, here's every new character that appeared in Genshin Impact's latest special program.

The Genshin Impact broadcast, an hour-long special, delved into the concepts for and creation of the third nation to be introduced to Teyvat. It detailed the inspirations and storyline of Inazuma, an island nation rife with conflict. Players got a glimpse at how Inazuma's new characters will interact with the Traveler in the next Genshin Impact update, as well as where their loyalties lie.

Due to past Genshin Impact leaks, most of the faces in the livestream are already recognizable. But now, officially confirmed by miHoYo, players can look forward to the fact that they will appear at some point in the 2.0 update. Though only three have been confirmed as playable so far, more information should be revealed about the teased characters as the Inazuma storyline unfolds. Everything Confirmed For Genshin Impact 2.0

Since several Genshin Impact characters were already revealed for Inazuma, the most anticipated information was that Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu are confirmed to be playable. Fans got a broader view of who they are and what their combat styles look like. Ayaka will be available with a boosted drop rate in the first Character Event Wish of update 2.o. Shortly after, Yoimiya and Sayu will appear together in the second Character Event Wish. While that gives fans much to look forward to, there were also many other characters teased. Here's a list of all those mentioned and who they are.

  • Kamisato Ayaka: Daughter of the Yashiro Commission's Kamisato Clan. As a high-ranking individual, she offers the common folk of Inazuma a helping hand and is described to be benevolent and kind-hearted.
  • Yoimiya: Owner of Naganohara Fireworks in Hanamizka. With an enthusiastic, childlike demeanor, she excels at making fireworks that represent hopes and dreams.
  • Sayu: A ninja of Shiyuumatsu-Ban who is always sleep-deprived. Shorter than everyone else, she believes sleeping will make her taller.
  • Raiden Shogun: Also know as Baal, the Electro Archon. With a cold and stern appearance, she is focused on her singular goal of implementing Eternity. Her interaction with the Traveler will result in the update's main storyline.
  • Electro Traveler: Players can expect to learn the Electro Element. Clips show the Traveler fighting with new Electro mechanics.
  • Tohma (Thoma): With blonde hair and a mysterious identity, Tohma is the observant chief retainer of the Kamisato Clan and has an association with the Kamisato siblings.
  • Kujou Sara: The adopted daughter of Kujou Clan, she is the general of the Tenryou Commission. Loyal to the Raiden Shogun, she is a tengu warrior with wings as dark as a raven and is bound to her duty.
  • Sangonomiya Kokomi: Despite her delicate demeanor, Kokomi is the brains and military advisor of the Sangonomiya Resistance and its leader.
  • Gorou: With distinct animal ears, this dependable, fierce warrior is the general of the Sangonomiya Troops.
  • Yae Miko: Guuji of the Grand Narukami Shrine. An unpredictable, cunning, and intelligent lady, the Traveler will cross paths with her several times.
  • Taroumaru: A boss Shiba Inu who runs Komore Teahouse, a peaceful, quiet, and hidden location.

The 2.0 livestream was full of exciting information on the update. Inazuma will soon be explorable, and with new playable Genshin Impact characters confirmed and a lot more teased, this next update will have a surplus of fresh content for players to enjoy.
