Since its release last year, Genshin Impact has been the subject of countless leaks. This has perhaps been bolstered by recent beta tests, in which players have posted content online early. With the latest Version 1.7 beta, alleged leaks have once again started to appear. Here are all the biggest leaks and rumors so far for Genshin Impact's next update.

One of the most common rumors circulating now is that Inazuma, the Electro region, will finally be added in Version 1.7. It's worth noting, however, that Inazuma was rumored for multiple Genshin Impact updates, and it's possible the new nation will wait a bit longer before making its debut. So far, developer miHoYo hasn't confirmed Inazuma is in the next update, although the studio has shared various pieces of concept art and new characters from the region so far.

Possibly the biggest rumor from the alleged Genshin Impact 1.7 leaks is what Inazuma's Archon, Baal, will look like. Previous leaks turned out to be fake - they were actually photos of Raiden Mei from Honkai Impact 3rd - but a new leaked cutscene featuring Kazuha and Baal seems to be real. This presumably shows Baal's silhouette and some fans have even made 3D renders of the character based on this. Others leaks claim to actually show Baal in 3D, although these should definitely be viewed with a bit of speculation, especially considering how different the renders look from the silhouette.

Genshin Impact 1.7 Leaks: What's Officially Confirmed So Far

Genshin Impact Yoimiya

Not every Genshin Impact 1.7 leak is quite so reliant on rumors, however. Yoimiya is expected to be playable in Version 1.7, according to the leaks. miHoYo has since shown off Yoimiya on Twitter, officially confirming she's playable. However, it hasn't been officially confirmed that she'll arrive in the 1.7 update, so that part is still up for speculation.

In terms of story and other new content, Version 1.7 is expected to have more events focused on boat travel, perhaps something similar to Genshin Impact 1.6's Waverider event. The story itself is expected to take players even further across the sea, perhaps even to the island nation of Inazuma itself. More Electro buffs, weapons, and Artifacts are also rumored to be added in, which makes a lot of sense considering Inazuma is an Electro-centric nation.

For now, these are the biggest leaks from the Genshin Impact 1.7 beta test. Based on leaks from previous betas, however, more character models and screenshots will likely appear online in the coming weeks. Until miHoYo officially confirms what's included in the next update, though, it's possible even real leaks are subject to change.
