GameMaker Studio 2 allows creative game developers to make games for a range of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, HTML5, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. GameMaker Studio 2 is the latest version of GameMaker, and has helped to make game development easier and more accessible for those wishing to bring their game ideas to life. Titles including cooking simulator Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?!, 2D platformer and top-down puzzle hybrid Toodee and Topdee, as well as action-platformer Flynn: Son of Crimson are just a few of the games shown in the reel, demonstrating the versatility of the tools available within GameMaker Studio 2. Despite all being 2D games, each title stands out aesthetically, proving how different ideas can be realized within the game maker.

Chicory, published by Finji, received overwhelmingly positive reviews at launch, proving to be one of the indie game highlights of the year so far. The game is expected to be a contender for Game of the Year awards later this year after receiving rave reviews for its gameplay, style, puzzles, and emotionally charged story.
