Petyr Baelish, better known to Game of Thrones viewers as Littlefinger, foreshadowed the deaths of two characters in season 4. Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) was first introduced as King Robert's Master of Coin, the figure in charge of the royal finances, in Game of Thrones. Littlefinger was a close friend of Catelyn Stark, but he wasn't always trusted by other powerful figures. When not managing the brothels in King's Landing, Littlefinger was brokering deals and alliances to get dirt on his enemies.

After the death of King Joffrey, Littlefinger took Sansa Stark to the Eyrie before marrying the widowed Lysa Arryn. He murdered her by pushing her through the infamous Moon Door despite claiming that she committed suicide. After vowing to look over her son, Robin Arryn, in addition to becoming the Lord Protector of the Vale, Littlefinger found someone new to manipulate. In the Game of Thrones season 4 episode "The Mountain and the Viper", Littlefinger testified in front of the Lords regarding Lysa's death. He then prepared to accompany young Robin on a tour of the Vale. While speaking to his stepson, Littlefinger had a very important quote:

"People die at their dinner tables. They die in their beds. They die squatting over their chamber pots. Everybody dies sooner or later. And don’t worry about your death. Worry about your life. Take charge of your life for as long as it lasts."

Littlefinger was trying to teach a lesson about death to a young boy mourning the loss of his mother, but it actually predicted multiple deaths on the horizon of the series. Technically, one character already died at the dinner table prior to the episode when considering Joffrey's poisoning earlier in season 4. Littlefinger may have helped orchestrate that death, but he didn't know what was to come with the others. However, he unknowingly predicted the deaths of Shae and Tywin Lannister.

Littlefinger Accurately Predicted The Deaths Of Shae & Tywin

Game of Thrones

As for the person dying in their beds part of Littlefinger's quote, this connected to Shae's murder in the season 4 episode, "The Children". Shae was once Tyrion Lannister's mistress before she betrayed him and testified against him in the murder of Joffrey. Tyrion later found Shae in his father's bed, so he strangled her to death after being betrayed once again. Immediately after killing Shae, Tyrion took a crossbow and found Tywin sitting on the chamber pot. He finally told his father what he felt about him and shot him twice with the crossbow, killing him. This death served as the link to Littlefinger's chamber pot mention in he foreshadowing quote.

Some might argue that another person, other than Joffrey, could fulfill Littlefinger's full prediction. Walder Frey was killed by Arya Stark after she slit his throat during his victory dinner. Arya disguised herself with a mask from the Hall of Faces and served Walder a piece of a pie that contained pieces of his son. The man's death at the dinner table occurred in Game of Thrones season 6, but since Littlefinger was still alive at that point, it could technically count as part of his foreshadowing.
