Watching The Battle of Winterfell on Game of Thrones was one of the most intense experiences in television history. There were moments of absolute heartbreak (we're looking at you, Lyanna Mormont) and there were moments of utter redemption (don't mess with Arya Stark.) The episode was so iconic, it was no doubt that there would be a ton of memes centered around The Battle of Winterfell crowding the internet the following day. It seems as though Game of Thrones memes are just as mandatory as the show itself because the hilarious online reactions to the final episodes only add to the epic experience for Thrones fans.

Thrones Characters In A Group Project

This is 100% spot on. If The Starks were in a group project together, we're almost certain this is exactly how it would all go down. Group Projects are almost always a nightmare because usually half of the people aren't paying any attention to the project—Sansa, Jon, and Bran—while there's that one person who is forced to do pretty much all of the work (love you, Arya). This is a perfect description of how everyone acted during The Battle of Winterfell, which is perhaps the most intense "group project" of all.

He Can See Into The Future

Okay, it's almost as though George RR Martin and the rest of the writing staff on Game of Thrones were straight up asking us to make this meme on Bran Stark aka the "three-eyed Raven" aka the most useless person during The Battle of Winterfell. Seriously, he could've helped a lot of people but instead, he was all "I have to go now" and we were all, "what the hell, Bran?" and then his eyes rolled into the back of his head like he was Raven Symone about to have a vision. The three-eyed raven is known to have all kinds of different powers including potentially seeing into the future, which makes this meme so spot on.

Lyanna Mormont Is Too Sassy To Handle

If Lyanna Mormont is going to have any spirit animal representing her, it's going to be this adorable little goat with all the sass of the Head Lady of Bear Island. Although she and the goat are small, they are mighty beyond measure and will fight for what they believe in regardless of the deadly consequences. Lyanna Mormont will be remembered as the sassiest little hero in all of the land, and we will miss her dearly.

Kim, There Are People Dying

It takes a lot of courage to air a new episode of a TV show during a new episode of Game of Thrones because TV executives know that pretty much the whole world will be tuned into what's going on in Winterfell. Kim K had the audacity to promote a new episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians during the one and only Battle of Winterfell, and Osha Wildling had some thoughts on this matter. When Kim K lost her earring in the ocean and had a meltdown over it, her sister Kourtney was quick to remind her how she was completely overreacting and that "there are people dying!" Maybe she needs to be reminded again here...

Ouch, That Stings

Even at the cusp of death, Ser Jorah Mormont will still be cast aside by Dany T into the friend zone! He died trying to protect the love of his life, Daenerys Targaryen, and it was an incredibly tragic moment. Dany's dragon even comforted her by curling up beside the two while she mourned his dead body. We will always remember Ser Jorah for his bravery, kindness, and desperate attempts to win Khaleesi's affection.

Tyrion Is Basically All Of Us

We all remember that hilarious moment during The Battle of Winterfell when Tyrion and the others were down in the crypt, and the most intellectual Lannister was spending his potential last moments of life getting flat out plastered. While Arya was busy killing the Night King, Tyrion was all "PEACE Y'ALL IM GONNA GET STUPID DRUNK LOL", and we honestly never identified more with Tyrion. This Kris Jenner meme perfectly captures that moment, and we never thought a Kardashian/Jenner would identify so much with Tyrion, until now.

Tyrion is known as the man who drinks and knows things, so it really is no surprise that he would be spending his time down in the crypt having as much wine as possible, and despite everything, we kinda wanna join him.

I Can't See Anything

Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3 has received a lot of criticism for being too dark, and we're not talking about the metaphorical sense of the word. Literally, it was too dark.  People could barely see what was going on and who was killing who, so we truly had to squint and lean close to the TV in order to know what the heck was going on.

This meme was pretty much all of us while we were watching the episode! The cinematographer Fabian Wagner even had to defend himself for the darkness but fans still had issues with the lighting despite his defense.

Music Was High Valyrian

We all know that classic tune by Michigan J Frog from Loony Tunes, "Hello My Ragtime Gal" and these High Valyrian words make perfect stand-ins for the lyrics. The best thing about Game of Thrones fans is their sense of humor when it comes to the show. Thrones fans are creative enough to come up with memes like this one, and the next time anyone uses these words, we will instantly be reminded of this song!

Cersei And Stanley Are Soul Sisters

All Stanley from The Office wants in life is to not work, while doing absolutely nothing. Well, that's exactly what Cersei Lannister did during The Battle of Winterfell, and we are starting to realize that the easily annoyed Dunder Mifflin employee is basically soul sisters with the Lannister Queen. We will never know exactly what Cersei was doing during the battle, but she was most likely pulling a Stanley and taking selfies with a giant tub of ice cream... or whatever the Westeros equivalent of that is.

The Real Hero Of Winterfell

So obviously Arya was the hero of the Game of Thrones Battle of Winterfell, but is Melisandre the unsung hero of the episode as well? Most definitely. She was able to provide light throughout the battlegrounds, which not only helped those fighting, but it also helped all of us finally see what was going on for once in the episode! We were thankful for Melisandre's powers despite all of the evil she has done in the past.
