Fans have been speculating for ages who they think will survive the final season of Game of Thrones, and who they believe will meet their demise. We can barely wait to see how it all unfolds in the final six episodes of the series, airing April 14th on HBO.

Knowing Game of Thrones, we are already quite aware of the fact that there's gonna be a major blood bath filled to the brim with unpredictable deaths. We're talking about the kind of unpredictable deaths that no one on the planet saw coming, not even the Three-Eyed Raven!

So, let's get right to it and check out the ranking of who we think is most likely to die on Game of Thrones and who is least likely.

Ser Jorah Mormont

Jorah Mormont in Game of Thrones Season 8

While most characters on Game of Thrones are looking to win the Iron Throne, Mormont is just looking to get out of the friend zone with Daenerys. Although he has already been through a lot, (greyscale and heartbreak just to name a few things), this is Game of Thrones we're talking about here. Game of Thrones has little pity, even for someone who has been through as much pain as Jorah.

It seems likely he will sacrifice his life for his one true love, Daenerys. It is a much more noble way for him to go as opposed to his potential return of greyscale. Unfortunately, his greyscale is likely to return.

Brienne Of Tarth

This is going to be a difficult one because she is such a fan favorite. Although Brienne has incredible strength, it has been made clear over and over again that she will sacrifice her life in order to protect Arya and Sansa. If that isn't obvious foreshadowing, we don't know what is! At least she will die for a cause that is dear to her heart. She made a promise to Catelyn Stark that she will gladly risk her life for the Stark girls.

We already know that Tormund is going to honor her in the most epic and beautiful way possible if it comes down to this. Although Brienne of Tarth might not survive the next season, Tormund's love for her will never die!

Cersei Lannister

Cersei Lannister is likely to die in the final season for several reasons. For one, her death has been predicted by Maggy the Frog who tells Cersei, "The valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you."

"Valonqar" is High Valerian for "little brother". The question is, who is the little brother that Maggy the Frog is referring to? Perhaps it's Tyrion? That could explain why she has loathed her younger brother for all these years. Jaime could also be the one to kill her considering he is the younger one out of the two of them. The ultimate betrayal!

Beric Dondarrion

Game of Thrones Beric Dondarrion Flaming Sword Lightbringer

Beric Dondarrion is basically the "Kenny" from South Park of The Game of Thrones universe because he's constantly dying and coming back to life. The Red Priest Thoros of Myr has always been around to resurrect Dondarrion, but as of season 7, Thoros of Myr is dead from being attacked by a zombie polar bear and then freezing to death. Will Dondarrion be able to survive without his resurrection buddy? Probably not... No more second chances for Beric.

The Hound even says to Dondarrion, "Careful Beric, you lost your priest. This is your last life."

Theon Greyjoy

It seems as though Theon Greyjoy has already been through way too much just to be killed off in the end, but as stated earlier, Game of Thrones reserves no pity for those who have suffered.

Due to all of the torture he has faced, Theon has seemingly lost the strength he once had and he is probably too weak to survive the next season. He will most likely go out while trying to save his sister, Yara.

Grey Worm

Grey Worm lives to serve. He is a noble character who is always willing to sacrifice his life for the people he is in service to. He's the commander of the unsullied, for Pete's sake! In the official trailer for season 8, we see Grey Worm in the front lines of battle which makes it extremely likely he will be killed off.

Another notable moment in the trailer is his passionate kiss shared with Missandei which looks to us like it might be their last. At least the two had the chance to express their love for one another! They so deserve it.

Samwell Tarly

Sam Tarly steals Heartsbane in Game of Thrones.

Sam is a family man now! He's got a wife and a baby to take care of, so the chances of him facing any kind of real danger are highly unlikely. Plus he is the comic relief of the show, and we're gonna desperately need some laughs this season in the midst of all our favorites dying brutal deaths. Samwell is basically the "Neville Longbottom" of the series, and the Neville Longbottoms don't die. They just don't. It's a classic storytelling trope that the underdog not only survives in the end, but he also thrives in ways that no one saw coming.

Jon Snow

Snow already died! It would feel a bit anti-climactic for fans if he just ended up dying again. What would be the point in him coming back to life if he was just going to end up dying a couple of seasons later?

He is also the "Ice" of "A Song of Ice and Fire", making him seem pretty invincible to the fate of the series.  He will most likely survive season 8 of Game of Thrones.

Tyrion Lannister

Tyrion Lannister looking up in Game Of Thrones

Tyrion Lannister can outsmart every person on the series. He drinks and he knows things, so chances are he will "know" exactly how to survive through this final season. He is also George RR Martin's favorite character, so why would they kill him off? Tyrion's brain is perhaps the strongest weapon of all so we think he's got a strong chance of survival.

Daenerys  Targaryen

Missandei: "Valar Morghulis." (All men must die).

Daenerys Targaryen: "Yes, all men must die. But we are not men."

Daenerys Targaryen is a leader in every sense of the word. She is born to rule and anyone else who even attempts to take her rightful position on the Iron Throne is only fooling themselves. Daenerys has been able to survive through it all. She has even walked through fire more than once! If she can come out of all that alive, we believe she can survive anything.

Daenerys is the one who possesses the world's largest army. Not only that, but she's got some faithful pet dragons to breathe fire at any fool who attempts to cross her! Daenerys will survive and continue to thrive.

What are your thoughts? Who do you think is most likely to go? Who will survive? Let us know!
