The launch date for EA Play on Xbox's Game Pass Ultimate is set for November 10 allowing Xbox console owners access to over 60 of EA's biggest titles at no additional cost. EA Play on Game Pass Ultimate will share the same release date as the Xbox Series X|S allowing next-gen console owners to play their favorite EA titles on launch day.

The partnership between EA and Xbox was announced on September 9 via an Xbox blog post, but the article hadn't mentioned a specific date that EA Play would be available. Instead, the announcement of EA Play on Game Pass Ultimate was accompanied by a vague Holiday Season release window but promised the arrival of more than 60 of EA's biggest titles. Xbox also announced that EA Play would be included with Game Pass Ultimate at no additional cost and would be available to both PC and console users.

Almost a month after the reveal, Xbox Wire published another blog post announcing the release date for EA Play on Game Pass Ultimate. EA Play will be available on Xbox's current and next-gen systems starting on November 10 and will make its way to PC at the beginning of December. The blog also claimed that some EA titles will be playable on Android device owners who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

EA Play Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass includes over 100 of the best titles Xbox has to offer including Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Sea Of Thieves, and the Gears of War franchise. With EA Play, titles like The Sims, Mass Effect, and Battlefield will join a massive digital library that can be accessed for $14.99 USD a month. Players will also have access to free trials for newer EA games and will receive discounts on digital purchases for EA titles and add-ons.

Xbox Game Pass offers titles both new and old allowing players to start some of Xbox's largest franchises from the very beginning. EA's partnership with Xbox is a great way for newer gamers to introduce themselves to iconic series such as Mass Effect and Titanfall. With the implemented trial periods, players will also have the ability to test-drive EA games before making a $70 commitment. While EA has made some questionable decisions in the past, teaming up with Xbox is one of its best moves yet and further solidifies Game Pass as one of the best values in gaming.
