Out of the many houses of Game of Thrones, the Night's Watch is completely its own type of family. Bound together by vows rather than familial blood, the members of the Night's Watch choose to be a family, rather than being born into it. Many members had been disregarded from their birth families and have been brought to the Wall; therefore, many characters are vastly different from each other with varying motives and goals born from the backgrounds of which they came from.
