Both Game Of Thrones and The Witcher have proven to be two incredibly popular fantasy shows, blending in all of the magic and fighting alongside incredible dialogue, and tense secrets. The two shows are gripping, and the worlds that they exist within are very similar, however, if they were all put together that could lead to some fights and friendships.

Because the characters have such big and vibrant personalities, there would no doubt be some epic clashes that could create some big battle scenes. However, there are plenty of characters that would actually get along as well, likely joining forces and opting to fight together to accomplish something greater than themselves.

Friendships That Would Work - Melisandre & Yennefer

Melisandre and Yennefer

Both Melisandre and Yennefer are two very powerful characters who help bring the magical elements of the two shows to the forefront. They're characters not to be messed with, and ones that can be very vengeful, with people not wanting either as an enemy.

However, they're also quite complicated people personally who tend to be very reactionary based on the situations they find themselves within. Together, it is quite easy to see how they could be great friends, using their power to put themselves into the most advantageous positions.

Friendships That Would Turn Ugly - Ramsay Bolton & Mousesack

Mousesack and Ramsay Bolton

Mousesack is a kind character who looks out for other people, looking to give genuine advice and help. Ramsay Bolton is the total opposite of that, as he is someone who only cares about himself and takes pleasure in torturing other people as much as possible.

They couldn't be any different if they tried, and because of that, they would absolutely come to blows in what would likely end up being a real battle, as Ramsay doesn't take things lightly.

Friendships That Would Work - Sansa Stark & Queen Calanthe

Queen Calanthe and Sansa Stark

These are two very strong female characters that like to lead with strength and try to make strong decisions to influence things for their own benefit. Sansa grows up and matures dramatically throughout Game Of Thrones, and while she doesn't like Cersei Lannister, she does learn a lot from being forced to be close with her.

That would be a similar situation if she was to be friends with Queen Calanthe, however, the two of them would likely get along. Queen Calanthe isn't quite as ruthless as Cersei, but she is certainly not somebody to be taken lightly, and together they would learn and develop.

Friendships That Would Turn Ugly - Joffrey Baratheon & Jaskier

Jaskier and King Joffrey

Jaskier is the type of character that the Lannister family would have around simply to entertain them, with the idea that he could perform and sing whenever they wanted to be cheered up. He's someone quite positive and while he would be good to have around when the family is on top, when things turn sour it would likely become ugly.

Joffrey is someone who loses his patience very easily, and when that happens it tends to end up being quite a nasty situation for those who annoy him. This type of friendship is one that could easily go wrong.

Friendships That Would Work - Samwell Tarly & Istredd

Samwell Tarly and Istredd

There are a lot of intelligent characters that appear in both of these shows, and Samwell Tarly and Istredd are certainly two of the smartest. Each character is wise, but they're never over the top with forcing that upon people, which is what makes them both such great characters.

Each of them still works hard to improve their intelligence as well, never stopping with their reading and learning to try and improve. Meanwhile, both of them are very kind people, thinking about others before themselves.

Friendships That Would Turn Ugly - Jon Snow & Stregobor

Jon Snow and Stregobar

Jon Snow is the ultimate hero from Game Of Thrones and someone who, for the most part, does everything by the book in an attempt to please everyone. He wants what is best for as many people as possible, and he's very happy to sacrifice himself in order to make that happen.

He's an incredibly unselfish person, and that is where tensions with Stregobor would rise. Stregobor is the complete opposite of Jon, and while he might be very intelligent, he is also very selfish, which is something that wouldn't lead to a great friendship with Jon.

Friendships That Would Work - The Hound & Ciri

Hound Ciri

The Hound may not be the bubbliest of people, but there's no doubt that when he cares about someone, he really does put 110% into the friendship, even if he doesn't show it all of the time. This was clear with his friendship with Arya, who he really took under his wing, and did as much as he could to protect her.

Despite the fact that Arya is talented and skilled herself, much like Ciri is within The Witcher. Because of that, the two of them would likely make great friends together, even if it wouldn't be one filled with big conversations or over-the-top declarations of how much they like one another.

Friendships That Would Turn Ugly - Petyr Baelish & Tissaia

Tissaia and Peter Baelish

Littlefinger and Tissaia are actually very similar people, but the problem is that they're too similar to ever really work out as friends. Both of them like to play games, and they keep their own motives to themselves, making their decisions based on what will benefit them the most.

While that allows each of them to have plenty of power within their respective worlds, it also means that if they were brought together, they would probably be seen as enemies rather than anything else.

Friendships That Would Work - Arya Stark & Geralt

Arya Stark and Geralt

Arya Stark and Geralt are both tremendous fighters, highly skilled with a sword in their hand while also being able to pull out moments of magic that can give them the edge against their opponents. They're cutthroat and can be very cold at times, yet deep down they do care about others.

While Arya starts out as a very bubbly person with a huge personality, as the years go on she does become far more reserved. However, that would suit a friendship with Geralt, because he is a private and reserved person for the most part as well.

Friendships That Would Turn Ugly - Jaime Lannister & Renfri

Jaime Lannister and Renfri from The Witcher

Jaime Lannister and Renfri are two people who are very skilled as fighters, and even though that does change a little for Jamie when he loses his hand, he is still more than capable of looking after himself. But that doesn't mean that they'd work well as friends.

Jaime is very much a people person who likes to try and charm his way out of situations, whereas Renfri prefers keeping to herself and being private. Jamie's the type of person that would simply annoy Renfri, which would likely end up in a fight between them.
