As each Great House of Westeros is made up of dozens if not hundreds of people, it's difficult to determine whether it should be sorted into Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. However, just like there are stereotypes about the houses of Hogwarts, there are stereotypes about the noble families of Game of Thrones, and working with those stereotypes makes things a bit easier.

For those super fans of both Harry Potter and Game of Thrones, now's your chance to see if your Hogwarts house and your House allegiance in Westeros line up. Here are 10 of the Great Houses of Westeros, along with the Hogwarts house they'd probably be sorted into.

House Stark - Gryffindor

The Starks are known by fans of Game of Thrones as the heroes of the show. They're the first people we meet in Westeros, way back in the pilot episode, and they're the people who we root for the whole time - as desperate for the family to reunite as we are to see who wins the game of thrones.

Gryffindors are known for their bravery, daring, and chivalry. There can be no doubt that each and every member of House Stark is brave. From Arya, who wanders beyond the reach of the Seven Kingdoms to become an elite killer, to Sansa, who must rely on her own resolve to survive the horrors of the court at King's Landing, the Starks are made of sterner stuff than the rest of Westeros.

House Targaryen - Slytherin

Though real fans of the Harry Potter books know that not all Slytherins are evil, they do get a pretty bad rap - just like the Targaryens. But even Daenerys, who for most of the television series is a benevolent and even kind leader, displays the Slytherin qualities of ambition, cunning, and resourcefulness.

Ambition may be the easiest quality to ferret out in each and every Targaryen. Viserys, before his untimely but deserved death at the hands of Khal Drogo, seeks to sell his sister off to a Dothraki warlord in order to advance his own position in the world. Unfortunately for him, his ambition backfires.

House Baratheon - Hufflepuff

House Baratheon is a trickier sorting to pin down. Stannis is the major outlier. Though he embodies the Hufflepuff qualities of hard work, dedication, and patience, working tirelessly to regain the throne which he believes is rightfully his, he does burn his own daughter at the stake, which makes it tricky to argue for loyalty. Loyalty to the god of light, perhaps.

Robert and Renly Baratheon are easier cases for the Sorting Hat. Both are extremely loyal to their friends and lovers - Robert to Ned Stark and Renly to his wife Margaery and his lover Loras Tyrell. Sadly, in the end, their loyalty saves neither of them from their tragic fates.

House Tyrell - Ravenclaw

Margaery and Loras Tyrell, brother and sister, both lovers of Renly Baratheon, are as different as night and day. Where Margaery is cutthroat and cunning, more emblematic of a Slytherin, Loras is more reliant on relationships, kind-hearted, and dedicated to his family and friends.

One thing that's indisputable about House Tyrell is their intelligence. The keepers of Highgarden are crafty maneuvers at court, especially Olenna Tyrell, who constantly makes moves behind the scenes in King's Landing in order to improve the position and prospects of her house. Thus, Ravenclaw.

House Mormont - Gryffindor

Anyone who watched Lady Lyanna Mormont plunge her sword into the eye of an undead giant knows she's a consummate Gryffindor - unshakeable, brave to the last, and much bigger of heart than her small size suggests. However, she's not the only character from House Mormont to appear in the show.

Ser Jorah Mormont, though exiled, still counts as a member of the House. He, too, embodies the qualities of a Gryffindor. Though his undying loyalty to Daenerys Targaryen may be considered more of a Hufflepuff characteristic, he is never shaken by battle or illness, and is perhaps the most chivalric character to appear in the series, never once overstepping his bounds with his queen.

House Lannister - Slytherin

Though the Lannisters share their emblem, a lion, with Gryffindor, none of them are lions at heart. They display qualities of every house - the nerve of a Gryffindor, the wit of a Ravenclaw, and even the family loyalty of a Hufflepuff, particularly between Jaime and Cersei but also between Jaime and Tyrion.

However, their greatest characteristic by far is their conniving ambition. They are the masters of political manipulation. They will slit the throat of anyone who stands in their way and return to take their pound of flesh from anyone who owes them. After all, a Lannister always pays his debts.

House Martell - Hufflepuff

The Great House of Dorne may be known best for their thirst for vengeance. But what we must remember is that desire for vengeance is born from intense loyalty. Oberyn Martell is defined by his dedication to his sister Elia, whose death he seeks to avenge, and his devotion to his lover Ellaria Sand.

After Oberyn's bloody death at the hands of Cersei Lannister's guard dog the Mountain, Ellaria takes over Dorne with the help of their daughters and eventually goes so far as to declare war on the Lannisters. And when Daenerys Targaryen sails for Westeros to challenge Cersei's claim to the Iron Throne, there are ships from Dorne among her fleet.

Bronn's House - Ravenclaw

Bronn in Game of Thrones

Though Bronn's house is unnamed, it's not a great leap to assume that it will be embodied by the same qualities as Bronn himself. Taking over the seat of Highgarden from the now-defunct House Tyrell, Bronn will likely lead his house with his unique sense of intelligence.

Bronn is known for his wit - one of the hallmarks of Ravenclaw. He's also known for his unwillingness to get entangled in matters that don't concern him, which is intelligence in its own respect. Though Bronn ends the series as the Master of Coin, his house will likely not get entangled in politics.

House Greyjoy - Gryffindor

Theon Greyjoy may be one of the most hated characters in Game of Thrones, largely because of his betrayal of the Starks. However, he's not the only Greyjoy. Yara and Euron Greyjoy both possess many of the qualities of a Gryffindor - though they're both jerks, they have major chops when it comes to standing up to insurmountable odds and coming out on top.

Even Theon eventually displays some Gryffindor qualities. Returning to the Starks in the final season after everything he's done to hurt them can't be easy, but in the end, Theon swallows his fear and his pride to do what's best for the family he loves.

House Clegane - Hufflepuff

This one's a bit tricky. Though the two most well-known members of House Clegane - the Hound and the Mountain - end up fighting to the death in the final season, they are both intensely loyal. The issue is that they're not loyal to each other or to their House, but to their charges.

The Mountain is by Cersei Lannister's side almost every second of the series, doing her bidding without even a second thought. And the Hound, though he goes through periods of being loyal to no one, is devoted in the end to Arya Stark, and saves her life when the Night King attacks Winterfell.
