After nearly two years of dating, reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian and former drummer for rock band Blink-182 Travis Barker have gotten engaged with much fanfare. As users across every social media platform share their congratulations and their shock, the memes have already started to trickle in surrounding the news of the couples' nuptials.

While some concentrate on the unlikely whirlwind romance of the media personality and the rockstar, a large majority of the "Kravis" memes focus squarely on how Kourtney's former partner Scott Disick (with whom she shares three children) is taking the news. Disick notably tried to propose even after they'd already split, so the fact that she's moved on so quickly has many fans hoping Disick is also using humor to lighten the situation.

You Okay, Scott?

With the announcement of Kourtney and Travis's engagement came a flood of pictures of the precious moment, with Travis and Kourtney at the center of a giant heart created out of roses and outlined with white candles. As the couple embraced outside The Rosewood Miramar Beach Hotel in Montecito, California, waves gently rolled onto the sand, providing the perfect romantic photo op.

The magic in the air prompted one Twitter user to wonder how Kourtney's ex Scott Disick was doing, who no doubt would have seen the news and gotten a little emotional himself. Kourtney and Travis's engagement is going to be featured on the Kardashian's new reality series on Hulu, so unfortunately he'll be reminded of their happy nuptials many times over the next several months.

What's In A Name?

The internet loves a good conspiracy theory, and Twitter was agog over one that featured a strange naming connection going on with the men in the romantic lives of the Kardashian and Jenner women.  Is it a coincidence, or does it mean something more?

Kylie Jenner's partner and the father of her child is hip-hop artist Jacques Bermon Webster II, stage name Travis Scott, which is a combination of both of the first names of the most prominent men in Kourtney's life; Scott Disick, the father of her children, and Travis Barker, her fiance.

Let Me Be The First To Congratulate You

Some Twitter users surmised that Disick might be trying to put on a brave face for the happy couple while concealing his inner turmoil. After all, back in April of 2011, he was shopping for an engagement ring for Kourtney in the Season 1 finale of her series Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

It's not hard to see why Scott Disick is heartbroken over Kourtney's engagement after she side-stepped his "almost proposal" a decade ago after being together for several years, only to get engaged to Barker after very little relative time together.

Speak Now, Or Forever Hold Your Peace

Scott Disick has always been known for his candor, leading many Twitter users to believe that he might just crash Kourtney and Travis's wedding. It's the sort of behavior that's gotten him in trouble in the past, but it's also the sort of thing that made for good reality television.

Other than Khloe Kardashian, Disick was often considered one of the more "real" people on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and his blunt honesty garnered him a lot of fans when juxtaposed to the at times inauthentic nature of the series.

The Kravis Family

Travis Barker has always had a darker, more rock and roll fashion sense that compliments his tattoos and jewelry choices. Since they've been dating, Kourtney has appeared in public with an edgier look, and the two look so good together that some fans think they're channeling another famous couple known for their dark vibes -- Gomez and Morticia Addams.

Gomez and Morticia's sweetest (and cringe-worthy) moments have even echoed Travis and Kourtney's wild love affair, from being incredibly romantic to displaying too much PDA, but one thing's for sure -- they've been couple goals for decades, and Kravis could learn a thing or two about married life from the spooky lovebirds.

The Blueprint

The drummer and the media mogul are hardly the first unlikely couple to make headlines recently. Back when comedian Pete Davidson was dating Ariana Grande, many celeb shippers couldn't understand their reasons for becoming a couple. Now one Twitter user believes that it was all practice until the public could enjoy the ultimate version, Kravis!

Hopefully their relationship won't be the blueprint for Kravis in all respects, because Davidson and Grande didn't enjoy a long romance -- they got together in 2018, were engaged shortly thereafter, but broke up just five months after that. Their differences in age and career trajectories ultimately truncated their relationship, but Kourtney and Travis are closer in age, have children, and seem to generally be on the same career path, respectively, so they might be more successful.

Ain't Nobody Got Time For That

Scott Disick is going to be receiving a lot of attention after the Kravis engagement whether he wants to or not, something which inspired fans to share a video of rock musician Taylor Momsen trying to flee from paparazzi by employing some seriously impressive parkour skills.

The video, which has been shared hundreds of thousands of times, was actually a Nike commercial, but managed to fool quite a few people into thinking Momsen knew the right free-running moves (and prompted them to replicate them).

I Give It 3 Months, Tops

Some fans were really rooting for Scott and Kourtney to stay together for the long haul. Like popular Friends couple Ross and Rachel, they had an on-again-off-again relationship that lasted years. But just like Ross made a lot of mistakes with Rachel, Scott messed up with Kourtney one too many times and when they finally split five years ago, it was for good.

Ross had a tendency to downplay how distraught he was over Rachel moving on, but his real friends knew the truth; inside he was a festering bundle of emotions, a total wreck, and unwilling to admit his fault in their relationship. Fans wonder if Disick is doing his own deflection right now to protect his heart.

Adele Makes Everything Better

If there's one thing Adele knows intimately, it's heartache, and like the best singer-songwriters, she knows how to channel it into Grammy-winning material that's relatable to everyone. One Twitter user proposed that Disick (using an image of Oh Il-nam in Squid Gameis probably going through Adele's entire discography trying to get over the news of Kourtney and Travis's engagement.

Hopefully, he's also acknowledging his own part in the dissolution of their relationship, because while it might seem like Kravis is happening fast, he had years to curtail his erratic behavior to be the person Kourtney needed him to be. One of the biggest messages Adele sings about is to never settle for less than what you deserve.
