With March upon us, the next holiday coming up is St. Patrick's Day, and we're getting ready for it! We've poured ourselves a pint and put on our green shirts to take a look back at ten of the best sitcom episodes featuring the Irish holiday. No need to travel to the end of the rainbow because the gold is right here. Take a look at how these St. Patrick's Day episodes ranked on IMDb:

According To Jim - 6.5

It's time for the annual "Green Man" to come out as Jim and the guys prepare for St. Patrick's Day in the According to Jim episode, "The Thin Green Line." They're decked out in their green scarves and leprechaun shoes, and they are ready to hit the hottest bars in town for a pitcher (or five) of beer.

However, when Cheryl gets word from the reverend that a spot has opened on the Church advisory committee, she begs Jim not to ruin the opportunity for her. It seems that Jim isn't the one that Cheryl has to worry about because she gets into some trouble of her own. This episode came in as the lowest on our list with a 6.5 score.

Mike & Molly - 6.6

Mike's police partner Carl is having a party in Mike & Molly's, "St. Patrick's Day," and he's got the pinata and green M&Ms ready! However, Mike and Molly will be unable to attend. It turns out that Molly will be ovulating, and the couple plans to take advantage of it in their attempts to become pregnant.

Back at the party, things are not going well for Carl and his roommate Samuel. After getting drunk enough to kiss a horse the St. Patrick's day before, Carl was hoping he would be able to meet some women at the party. When no ladies actually show up, his plans may have to change. Molly and Mike both earn a 6.6.

Home Improvement - 6.7

We're seeing green on Tool Time, the fictional show on Home Improvement. That must mean it's time to celebrate March's favorite holiday! Back at home, neighbor Wilson is celebrating by getting his house fumigated and taking a three-day vacation.

With his niece Willow having nowhere to go, Tim and Jill offer to let her stay with them. However, looking after a young lady is not as easy as it may seem. Willow heads out to a club one evening and doesn't come back to the Taylors'. The whole family goes out looking for her, giving the episode its name, "Desperately Seeking Willow." Home Improvement gets a 6.7 for this episode.

Grounded For Life - 7.3

One popular place for people to hang out on St. Patrick's day is a bar. This is lucky for Sean and Eddie in the Grounded For Life episode, "It's Hard to be a Saint in the City," because their bar is not doing so hot. Sean decides that unless St. Patrick's Day is successful for the pub, they will have to sell it.

Eddie thinks that the best way to ensure that they have enough customers is to try to convince patrons from other bars to come to theirs instead. The kids are up to their own shenanigans as usual, as Jimmy tries to understand what St. Patrick's Day is about, and Lily helps Brad prepare for a parade. This episode was grounded with a 7.3 IMDb score.

2 Broke Girls - 7.3

In 2 Broke Girls, "And The Kilt Trip," Max and Caroline are headed to the pub to drink green beer and deal with old drunk men trying to kiss Caroline. As fun as that seems, Caroline is not that into it. She starts to long for her old life at The Plaza, and she decides she's going to show Max what St. Patrick's Day used to be like for her.

Selling Irish cream cupcakes and beer earned them some money, so they use it to buy Bellinis at The Plaza. Caroline realizes, though, that maybe it actually was more fun at the bar... The Girls get a 7.3, but we'd be willing to round it up if we can try one of those cupcakes.

The Office - 7.7

In "St. Patrick's Day" on The Office, Michael plans to head to a bar, and Erin and Andy are ready to have their first date. Jo's plans overshadow theirs though because she is having everyone stay late at work. The employees are all annoyed at this and attempt to leave with no success. Michael stands up to Jo and allows his workers to leave, earning a bit of respect from the CEO.

After Erin and Andy get out, their date gets moved to Erin's house, as she is unwell. However, Andy becomes uncertain about things between them after it gets a bit weird with Erin and her foster brother. The Office has a 7.7 for this episode.

Still Standing - 7.7

Shamrocks and beer aren't the only things coming out on St. Patrick's Day. In the episode, "Still Parading," of Still Standing, The Millers are planning to take part in the parade, and Bill doesn't want to help Brian build the float. Bill decides to ask Scotty, Fritz's son, to help Brian with the float instead. Brian learns that Scotty is gay, and Bill finds it important to tell Fritz.

When Bill hears that Fritz already knows about his son's sexuality, Bill realizes that he really should spend more time with his own son. Bill gets a 7.7 for this and for the episode.

30 Rock - 7.7

While St. Patrick's Day can be a fun holiday where you can celebrate Irish heritage, not everyone enjoys the occasion. This is the case for Liz on 30 Rock in "St. Patrick's Day." She plans to stay home with her boyfriend Criss, but plans change when her ex-boyfriend Dennis appears on her stoop claiming to be hurt.

Liz doesn't believe him and thinks he just wants to get her back, but Criss acts helpful and kind towards Dennis. This is not the day she hoped for! Coming it with a 7.7, this is the third show to tie with that score.

How I Met Your Mother - 8.2

Barney is green-suited up and ready do green Jello shots in How I Met Your Mother episode, "No Tomorrow," but the others would rather break in Lily and Marshall's new apartment with some board games. Barney eventually convinces Ted to join him, leaving his friends to their game playing, but the evening is interrupted when Marshall and Robin discover that the new apartment is tilted!

Marshall tries to come up with a story about a ghost to keep the crookedness a secret from Lily, but he's not sure if she'll believe it! There's nothing crooked about this score - 8.2.

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia - 8.6

When Charlie and Mac suspect that they have a conniving klepto leprechaun on their hands, they know they must catch it in the aptly named episode, "Charlie Catches a Leprechaun," on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. This leads to a chaotic chase complete with kidnapping and drinking, as a good St. Patrick's Day should include.

Dennis, on the other hand, has different plans. He wants to bring his idea of a mobile Paddy's Pub to life, but things get off to a rocky start and seem to come to a halt before they even start. It's sunny to be number one on our list with an 8.6 from IMDb.
