Netflix's Fuller House season 4 brings back most of the original characters from Full House and continues their respective stories. Michelle Tanner will, sadly, still be absent in the upcoming season as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen continue to refuse to appear in the reboot, but the new Fuller House outing won't have a shortage of familiar faces. Along with them are new characters played by well-known guest stars making the upcoming season potentially the best so far.

Debuting in 2016, Fuller House centers on DJ Tanner, the eldest of the Tanner sisters who, like her father, has been widowed at a young age after her firefighter husband died during a mission, thus leaving her to raise three young boys on her own. Her sister, Stephanie, and best friend, Kimmy Gibbler, move into the Tanner family home to help her get through this difficult time in her life. It's a quite interesting recreation of the original series, but it hasn't left everyone with a positive taste.

Fuller House season 1 received generally negative reviews from audiences and critics alike, but seasons 2 and 3 started to tick up in the positive direction. And now, the cast and crew behind Fuller House season 4 is aiming to give fans a worthwhile season 4, in case season 4 ends up being its final season. While that remains to be seen, it looks like Fuller House's cast and list of guest stars will make the journey all the better.

Main Cast Returning For Fuller House Season 4

Candace Cameron Bure as DJ Tanner-Fuller and Scott Weinger as Steve Hale: As Full House's quintessential teen couple, Fuller House revisited DJ Tanner and Steve Hale's postponed love affair after they married different people. After three seasons of a tumultuous love affair that involved them being engaged to other people, DJ and Steve are officially back together and, it seems that this time, it's for good.

Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Tanner and Adam Hagenbuch as Jimmy Gibbler: The second Tanner sister, Stephanie, put a halt on her music career to help DJ in raising her kids after being widowed. She's in a romantic relationship with Kimmy's brother, Jimmy, and together, they are expecting a baby whose arrival would be one of the main story lines of Fuller House season 4.

Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler and Juan Pablo Di Pace as Fernando Hernandez-Guerrero-Fernandez-Guerrero: The Tanners' long-time neighbor and DJ's eclectic best friend, Kimmy, moved into the Tanner household to help raise her pal's kids at the start of Fuller House season 1. She's formerly married to Fernando, and together they share a daughter. The estranged couple, however, eventually worked their differences and are now back in a relationship, although they're postponing getting married for the second time. Kimmy also plays surrogate mother to Stephanie and Jimmy's baby.

Michael Campion as JacksonElias Harger as MaxDashiel & Foxx Messitt as TommySoni Nicole Bringas as Ramona: As the new generation of kids in the Full House franchise, all four children live in the same Tanner family home with their respective mothers. Jackson, Max, and Tommy are DJ's three sons from her first marriage. Ramona, meanwhile, is Kimmy and Fernando's daughter. And just like in the original series (with the Olsen twins), there is a pair of twins (the Messitts) who portray the same baby, Tommy Fuller Jr.

Rebecca and Jesse in Fuller House

Fuller House Season 4 Recurring Stars

John Stamos as Jesse Katsopolis and Lori Loughlin as Rebecca Donaldson-Katsopolis: The ultimate Full House couple returns again for Fuller House season 4. Like the last couple of seasons, Jesse and Rebecca are expected to check in with their nieces and grand-nephews from time-to-time. Both living in Los Angeles where their respective jobs are, as well as their twin sons,  Nicky and Alex, the pair will appear more frequently in the coming outing as Rebecca reclaims her former hosting gig on Wake Up, San Francisco with Danny Tanner.

Bob Saget as Danny Tanner: The buttoned-up, cleaning-obsessed father of the Tanner sisters, Danny, relocated to Los Angeles to anchor Wake Up, USA with Rebecca when Fuller House began. But he revealed that he'll move back to the Bay Area to take back his old hosting gig on Wake Up, San Francisco with Jesse's wife. After suffering a mid-life crisis back in the spin-offs' second season, it was eventually revealed in season 3 that he and wife, Teri, had secretly divorced.

Dave Coulier as Joey Gladstone: Danny's best friend, Joey helped his pal raised his three daughters in Full House and is touted an unofficial Tanner family member. He's now married to a magician and four very rowdy and obnoxious kids of his own. Joey's whole family is based in Las Vegas where he and his wife work, but it's revealed that like Danny, Rebecca, and Jesse, he's moving back to San Francisco after his wife nabbed a job at a cruise ship.

Fuller House Season 4 Guest Stars

John Stamos and Josh Peck in Grandfathered

Josh Peck - his character may still be unnamed, but he's expected to play a hipster father that Jesse will meet during a hip Daddy and Me group outing with his and Rebecca's adopted daughter, Pamela. Peck's guesting in Fuller House will reunite him with Stamos who he co-starred in on Grandfathered.

Lee Majors and Lindsey Wagner as James and Millie - The pair of veteran actors will play ex-spouses who formerly own a detective agency and will be among the slew of people that DJ, Stephanie, and Kimmy meet during a dinner cruise. Considering their shared history, they will have an interesting love/hate dynamic which will fascinate the girls. Majors and Wagners' appearance in Fuller House will double as their small-screen reunion after playing classic '70s characters, cyborg Steve Austin and Jamie Sommer,  respectively, who starred in Six Million Dollar Man and its spinoff Bionic Woman.

Leslie Grossman - Grossman will appear in a special Fuller House episode where she will play a doctor at the hospital where Kimmy is delivering Stephanie and Jimmy's baby. Not much is known regarding the actress' role yet but her character is described as eager and energetic. Considering the actress' role in My Big Fat Greek Wedding and its sequel film My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, she could be someone tied to Jesse's Greek heritage.

Maria Canals-Barrera as Nadia - playing Fernando's mother, the actress is known for her stint in Disney Channel's family sitcom, Wizards of Waverly Place, as well as in the Camp Rock movies She's also a veteran voice actress, her credits include playing Shayera Hol/Hawkgirl in the animated Justice League and Justice League Unlimited shows.
