Full House star Dave Coulier has another spinoff idea that would honor Bob Saget. Created by Jeff Franklin, Full House debuted in 1987 as part of ABC’s popular TGIF lineup. Starring Saget, Coulier, John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, Full House follows widowed father Danny Tanner (Saget) as he raises his three young daughters with the help of his brother-in-law Jesse (Stamos) and best friend Joey (Coulier).

Considered a staple sitcom of the ‘90s, Full House ran for eight successful seasons on ABC. In 2016, Netflix revived the show’s potent chemistry, relevant storylines, and comedic timing with the debut of the sequel series Fuller House. The continuation show featured the return of all of the original Full House cast members, sans the Olsen twins. Earlier this year, the shocking news broke that Saget passed away in his sleep at the age of 65 after reportedly enduring a head injury. Following his death, the cast of Full House took to social media to issue a touching joint statement in honor of the actor.

Now, Coulier shares how the sitcom can honor Saget’s legacy. Per E! News, Coulier reveals another Full House spinoff could address the death of Danny Tanner. Coulier says he would like the entire original cast of Full House to come together when they are older and “tell stories about Danny Tanner and keep his character alive.” Chiming in that the spinoff could be called Fullest House, Coulier says the entire cast would be on board to develop another show. Read Coulier’s full comment on how another Full House spinoff would honor Saget below:

What I would love to do it bring all the original cast back to where we are older now and we talk about our lives. We can reflect and tell stories about Danny Tanner and keep his character alive, because he's very much alive in spirit with all of us. We miss him dearly. I think we would all do it in a heartbeat. We talk all the time about how we would love to do a show again. We just love working and we love our fans so much. We love the whole process. We just love what the show is and what it means to people.

Bob Saget Fuller House

Coulier isn’t the only original Full House cast member who has offered ideas for another spinoff. Recently, Sweetin suggested that Fuller House could have a follow-up series that would feature DJ, Kimmy, and Stephanie in a setting similar to The Golden Girls. As for the Olsen twins, they made a point to pay tribute to Saget and attended his memorial service. However, it's unlikely they would sign on for another Full House reboot after declining to appear in Fuller House. Of course, a reboot could open the door for Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin) to return after she failed to appear in the final season due to her involvement in the college admissions scandal.

The cast of Full House has remained an off-screen family for over three decades, and the strong bond between them seems to have grown since the death of Saget as they grieve together. Since the passing of the actor, Cameron Bure, Stamos, Barber, Sweetin, and Coulier have continued to share photos, stories, and cherished memories of Saget. Even if a spinoff of Fuller House isn’t ordered, a special edition episode of Full House with the original cast could be a great way to honor the late Saget and Danny Tanner.
