Kimmy's fashions are her most notable decisions. She tries out many styles and patterns, and they basically all work for her. Fans actually try to make Kimmy's wardrobe more confusing than it is. It is typical for the BFF to be remembered most for the craziest outfits she wears, but a lot of her clothes aren't that different from anyone else's. She might wear a bolder color scheme with those biker shorts, but she isn't singled out by her threads in every episode.
Feelings
Kimmy very rarely gets upset about anything while on Full House. She and DJ have a few fights, the Tanners forget Kimmy's birthday, and Kimmy and DJ's friendship suffers after Kimmy gets drunk at a party.
These isolated incidents aside, Kimmy has to keep up a funny face and hide her feelings too often. She should be able to be as vulnerable as DJ or anyone else is.
Influence
Because Kimmy is often so level-headed in her interactions, she keeps people grounded and cheers them up. She might annoy the Tanners by coming over so much, but she helps all of them at some point. The influence Kimmy has over this family is so underappreciated, and that makes no sense.
Attraction to Jesse
Though high school Kimmy butts heads with Uncle Jesse, young Kimmy has a total crush on him. Jesse is a handsome guy (and he knows it), but it's a little weird to have the hots for your best friend's uncle. It's funny at times, but thankfully, Kimmy grows out of this little habit.
Relationship with DJ
Kimmy and DJ don't have the perfect friendship, but they try to be there for each other no matter what. They may seem totally different, but they have some common interests. It just doesn't make sense that DJ tries to boss Kimmy around when Kimmy is usually the more insightful one. Kimmy stands up for herself sometimes, but she shouldn't ever feel like DJ is in charge.
Relationship with Steve
Kimmy is usually a good sport when it comes to DJ's fast and furious romance with Steve. Even though Kimmy gets left out a little bit, she still cares about Steve and DJ. To lighten the mood, she often calls Steve "Steverino." It is generous of Kimmy to be so kind to the couple, but it sure doesn't always make sense. Kimmy Gibbler needs a hot date of her own.
Siblings
Jimmy Gibbler was a Fuller House surprise who never existed on Full House. The goofy brother was not one Kimmy ever mentioned (she referenced Garth on the original show).
Then there was that time in the first season where DJ said that Kimmy had three sisters. Kimmy's sibling line-up doesn't make sense, but continuity errors make things more exciting.
Origin Story
Early in the first season, Kimmy walks right in like she has been there all along. No one knows exactly how long she has been the Tanners' neighbor, but she makes a joke at one point about how her parents move in, "trash the place," and then move out. If she hasn't been next door to DJ in San Francisco forever, fans sure don't know where she was before.
Hobbies
Kimmy is one of the liveliest characters on the sitcom, and she enriches everyone's storylines with her quick wit. She truly makes viewers laugh out loud with her visual gags and snappy dialogue. Fans don't really learn what Kimmy's hobbies are, besides picking out fun outfits and hanging out with DJ and her sisters. It would be nice to learn what else she does for fun on a regular basis. Sitcom hobbies can feel so temporary, like Kimmy's hilarious bagpipes practice with her emu.
Goals
By the time Fuller House rolls around, Kimmy is an event planner who knows how to do a fabulous party. She might fumble here and there, but she knows what she likes and is good at it. Her career goals were never exactly outlined on Full House. As she and DJ got ready to go to college, nothing really stood out for Kimmy's future. A woman who is so smart and confident deserves to share her goals, so it is nice that Fuller House gave Kimmy some fulfillment years later, even allowing her to become friends with Stephanie.
