On the first anniversary of his unexpected death, Bob Saget's co-stars remember the Full House actor with their respective social media posts. In January 2022, news broke that the beloved comedian died at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida while in the middle of his comedy tour; the actor was just 65 years old. Not long after, those who were closest to Saget spoke out about the tragedy, including his Full House and Fuller House family.

A year has passed since Saget's unexpected and tragic demise, and his on-screen family are looking back at their year of grief, detailing how they coped with this big loss while also remembering how big of an impact he had in their lives. Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron-Bure, John Stamos, and Jodie Sweetin all took to their official Instagram accounts to celebrate Saget's life and legacy, while also reminiscing on their time working on Full House and its spinoff. Can Another Full House Spinoff Happen Without Saget's Danny Tanner?

Despite his real-life, raunchy brand of humor, Saget effectively brought the strict but loving Tanner patriarch to life in Full House. While the fan-favorite Jesse, played by Stamos, and Joey had more of a relaxed kind of parenting style, Danny balanced things out by having difficult conversations with his three daughters, imparting valuable lessons to DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle that guided them in their respective arcs as they grew older. In fact, even as the children became full adults, they continued to turn to Danny for advice, as seen in Fuller House. So, while Saget wasn't a series regular, he was an important part of the Netflix sitcom.

Since the unexpected death of Saget, his co-stars have provided comments about the experience, including whether they'd do another Full House spinoff without the Danny Tanner actor. In fact, Coulier even said that Saget would want them to move forward with the franchise, considering how much he loved seeing the cast spending time together. Whether this will push through is uncertain at this point - despite lingering plot lines left by Fuller House season 5, there are no active discussions about doing another Full House spinoff.

In the event that the Tanners reconvene on the small screen again, the endeavor may not feature two of its best characters. Stamos has previously said he isn't open to revisiting Full House again without Saget, effectively ruling out his possible involvement. Meanwhile, Sweetin sounded on the fence about the idea. She is, however, proposing a The Golden Girls-inspired Full House spinoff in the next two decades.
